I would suggest that you refer to it and what it recommends etc, but it not yours to use. Use a link to your readers to it for further information, but make your blogs your blogs!! After all your customers come to you to hear what you have to say!

Google searching "Typecore theme - change sidebar background color" (without the quotation marks, of course) offered up several suggestions that might interest you.
Though you need to be prepared to install a child theme if their suggestions are to add to your theme's css sheet, as your changes would be overwritten the next time you update your theme.

My tracking number is in the upper left hand corner of my home page. I don't know how it got there, but I can't find a way to get rid of it.
This is the procedure:
Delete an Analytics account
Important: Your account, and all the properties and views contained in the account, will be permanently deleted within 35 days. Once deleted, the account is gone, and we are not able to retrieve any historical data or reinstate your reports.
You need Edit permission to move an account to the Trash Can. Moving an account to the Trash Can also moves all component properties and views to the Trash Can. To move an Analytics account to the Trash Can:
1.Remove the Analytics tracking code from all your web pages or from your app.
2.Sign in to your Analytics account.
3.Select the Admin tab.
4.In the ACCOUNT column, use the dropdown menu to select the account you want to delete.
5.In the ACCOUNT column, click Account Settings.
6.Click Move account to Trash Can.
Everyone with Manage Users permission then receives an email notifying them that the account has been marked for deletion.

Looks like the Google tracking code is placed "outside" the header.
If you go to Appearance > Editor,
Then from the right-hand side menu, click "Theme Header"
Within the code, just after </header>
Does this code appear (have you pasted recently) it here? (as attached)
