What Is Mobile-Friendly Content
Mobile Friendly Content - Is Your Site Ready
Hello Folks
Browsing the net last night and pulled of this info about Google's mobile algorithm update back in April. Perhaps you read about it but I'm guessing a lot of you wont have so I thought I should share with the membership, especially the new members.
Below are a few tips and advice that can help you create mobile-friendly content:
1. Submit Your Posts To Google’s Index Directly
Use this new mobile-friendly testing tool at google.com/search-console/mobile-friendly. Type in your URL, and the results will tell you if your site is mobile-friendly, or not as the case may be.
2. Larger Fonts
Sizes are scaled according to the device. Start with 16 pixels, and keep it simple by avoiding too many styles and sizes on your pages.
3. Check Width
Position values for CSS elements. This eliminates the need for visitors to scroll horizontally to see images on your page. Google has a tutorial here.
4. Regular Monitoring
Ensure website’s navigation is easy and stress-free. User experience is all-important.
5. Website Design
Too many graphics and videos may interfere with your site’s load speed.
6. Get AMP-ed
Consider setting up AMP (Accelerated Mobile Pages) for your website. Follow this link for more information.
Creating Mobile Friendly Content Is The Way Ahead
Mobile friendly content is the way to stay up-to-date with shifts in technology and how mobile device users connect with the world.
Website owners cannot afford to produce run of the mill content while assuming it will be displayed the same way across all platforms. This is particularly relevant because of Google’s latest announcement, mobile-first index.
Google’s mobile-first index is still in an early stage. However this turn down a new path signals a shift in website design that wealthy affiliate members would be wise to pay attention to.
There you go folks now you have to ask yourself - "Is my site mobile friendly?" If you have any doubts at all then get testing.
Have a great day and of course leave a comment below if you have any other tips and advice to pass on to your fellow members..

Hi Phil and thank you for stopping by and reading my blog.
The WA AMP is supposed to be ok for speeding up your site for mobile devices but I personally don't use it.
The Plugin is more trouble than its worth.
When I say in my blog to get AMP-ed its purely an individuals choice.
You can go with it or not Phil.
Did you follow the other link as well to test your speed?
If your sites ok then I wouldn't get AMP-ed.

Hello Theo and thank you for reading my blog.
Always best to be one step ahead of the competition and having your site(s) mobile friendly will ensure you are.
Have a great Wednesday.

Thanks Robert. It really is a nuisance to look something up on your phone and have to be a contortionist to read it! As usual, I will need to bookmark and study to be sure I, too, am compliant!
Blessings,
Debby
Hi Debby, thank you for reading the blog.
Bookmarking it is a wise move coz you will need to make your site(s) mobile friendly now and in the future.
Usually when I access a site on my mobile devices and I can see all that I want to see right away I click away.
I guess I'm not the only one.
Hope you're having a good day.

Excellent tutorial Roberts thanks for sharing, it amazes me how many big name websites are not that user-friendly especially with that pop-up that takes up the whole screen and is so hard to get rid of.
Hi Alex, the first to read my blog and leave a comment so thank you for that.
Lots of resources for you to check up on your site so get busy.
have a stupendous day and be successful.

Hi Linda and thank you for taking my advice and reading this blog.
More and more people are using their mobile devices to browse Linda so it makes a great deal of sense to ensure they can actually do it.
Yes please share far and wide as it will affect all marketers whether they are WA members or not.
I'm not sure if Susan and Becky have read this as I haven't scrolled down the comments.
I'm in a rush to get out of here and catch my bus home for eats.
You take care.
