I am on theme 2016. First page is Blog, Selection of summary button for the Blog is not working.
Support says it's a theme problem and they can't help.

This is one downside of WA. WA will not support the theme and WordPress will say you didn't get the theme from them so they won't support you either. It's not a WP issue it's more of a WA issue since that's who we pay I'm sorry to say.
Just for your info, Steve. All the themes available through your Wealthy Affiliate hosted website are from http://wordpress.org. Every theme at http://wordpress.org has a support forum.
Whether it's a paid theme or a free theme it's up to the theme's developers to provide support (not WA).
A support forum not withstanding, I emailed back and forth with wordpress.com support a few months ago about a theme question I had at the time. They were very clear with me and told me if I was a wordpress.com platform user they would help and support me but not being on their platform they have no support responsibility which is understandable.
Technically you're correct that WA support is only responsible for the site maintenance and support; however, since the themes are provided through the WA site and our membership is with WA it is only natural to look to WA as a first line of support since (and I may have missed it) they do not provide a disclaimer for those of us who as newbies don't know they don't support the themes.
Aaah, you're getting confused between wordpress dot com and wordpress dot org. They are very different beasts.

Yes, wordpress dot com is the commercial enterprise and they only help their own customers.
WordPress dot org is run by a community and they help everyone who uses the WordPress content management system.

There are thousands of free themes available so you can either change your theme or use the Read More tag. Choose a New Theme Read More or Continue Reading Tag

Dennis posted how to make your own WA login page for your WA site.
I clicked to see what he was talking about and ever since, when I log into WA it's his WA login pa
I could not find training from "Dennis", but I figured it out. If you go to the Airplane icon at the top of WA screen, Go to "Links and Tracking". Under "Your WA Affiliate Links" you will see your custom homepage you created with Dennis' picture. You have the option to Delete it or Edit it. If you Edit it, you can upload your own picture.
If you don't have a custom homepage, then you perhaps favorited or bookmarked his custom homepage. Just delete it in your Bookmark manager and use:
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com
as your bookmark.
What's wrong with Dennis' Face Rose?
Just teasing my Friend, try clicking on the airplane at the top right then click on your own Affiliate link. Then log out here on WA and click your own Affiliate Link again then log in.
