How To Market Online And Achieve Success
Sales Marketing Strategies
Hi Folks
I had a message from a new member the other day asking me how come they were not making any sales. They had followed the training to the letter, produced what they thought where great articles and had a good position in the SERPs. They had also affiliated themselves with a top online company, but they still hadn't made any sales.
What else could they do?
My reply was - What are your Marketing Strategies? Their reply was - What do you mean? This told me all I needed to know. They didn't have a Marketing Strategy.
Without an effective sales marketing strategy, most businesses would fail within a very short period of time. By simply putting a product or service on the market without the proper research and planning, the chances of finding success are almost zero.
While there are isolated cases of success with very little sales marketing preparation, any business that wants to be successful understands the importance of sales marketing. Even products that have already undergone an initial sales marketing campaign can begin to see improvement with the consistent introduction of new sales marketing ideas and techniques.
Developing A Successful Marketing And Sales Strategy
One of the most common ways a business can begin looking at how to come up with an effective sales marketing strategy is to look at the words that make up sales marketing separately - marketing and sales. By taking these two words and then proceeding to produce itemized lists that indicate areas that need improvement can make a manageable foundation on which to build new sales marketing strategies.
Begin with the market that a product or service is geared towards and reassess the information that is currently known about that particular market. Make a point to note what products or services are being purchased and how effective your sales marketing plan is working for those products. For the products that are already producing sales, consider what can be done to sell even more of these items to existing and new customers. Consider markets you may not have been previously looked at.
Next it is time to consider what sales marketing strategies are being used by your competition and how effective they are for them. Think about how to expand the current market of a product in order to make it more profitable. Consider joining forces with another company’s product if they could complement each other.
Take a look at the supply chain and your business’s position in relation to the overall market in order to assess where change is needed and for ideas on new sales marketing strategies.
After looking at the factors that affect the sales marketing of a product, its time to consider key factors for a new sales marketing strategy. Consider new promotional ideas for each product or service, think about if the price of the product or service should be made more competitive, maybe the service or delivery of a product needs to be addressed and unique new ways in which to build a loyal customer base.
There you go folks and now you have to ask yourself, are your marketing strategies all that they could be to generate the most profit.
Anyone who would like to share their own ideas on marketing can of course leave them via a comment below.
Have a great day, and be successful.

Hi Vicki and thank you for stopping by.
Always good to know my tips and advice will help.
I will be having a quiet festive couple of weeks with no overnight stays but will of course see my two girls and the wee ones.
Have a great time yourself.

Just to be sure, since I'm not very good at the marketing aspect of online business, does that include social media? I'm definitely not ready to start with paid advertising and things like that, but I'm guessing that you mean "marketing" as in any way you get your content noticed?
Hello Aria and thank you for reading.
Yes online marketing is all about getting the product or service you're promoting in front of people you believe are looking for it.
Of course this will include Social Media platforms.
One step at a time Aria and fully understand one step before moving on to the next.
Enjoy your day.

Fabulous post. Thanks. I've bookmarked it.
When you're part of a large off-line business, meetings are held all the time around these topics, plans are made then put into action.
When you're a one-person on line entrepreneur, you should still have these meetings, even if they are just with yourself. If you can argue from more than one point of view, all the better.
The goal is to always make a plan, implement it and learn from both successes and failures.
Hi Phil, thank you for dropping by and for your input.
Didn't someone once say - if you don't have a plan, you plan to fail
I argue with myself all the time and sometimes I don't win lol
Onwards and upwards Phil and have a good one.

Great post! Bookmarked, as Mark did, because it's too late here in Spain and I need to wind down.
Scotland, I'll be back soon! Save some cratur for the latino! ;-)
Thank you for stopping by Richard.
I thought you were in Ireland.
There will be plenty of the good stuff left for when you come back again.
Have a great Thursday.
Robert
I lived in Cork for 5 years, now I'm in sunny Alicante!
But I'll visit the Highlands next summer.
Have a wonderful Thursday you too, my friend.
Richard
I have lots of relatives in Northern and Southern Ireland.
Two brothers, one sister and countless nephews and nieces.
My mother is actually over there just now in County Cavan visiting family.
Now I'm off out for a couple of hours so maybe catch you later.

BOOKMARKED! Thanks for this information. I think I am doing every bit of what is in this post. But I am going to actually write it down and re-asses at least once a month in 2019 to make sure I stay on track.
Plus the gray line in the second image looks just like the country of Ukraine.
Make a living, make a difference.
Mark
Hi Mark, thank you for reading and for your input.
It never does any harm to improve on whatever you think is good.
Make it great instead and yes it is the Ukraine as the question was asked by a member who lives there.
You have a good eye Mark.
Funnily enough they haven't yet read this blog.
Enjoy your day.
Robert
So funny. I love my Ukraine. Can live anywhere in the world and I chose the poorest country in Europe and the one at war.
Oh well. I am not leaving.
Make a living, make a difference.
Mark
Onwards and upwards Mark.
I will be signing off soon as its getting late here in Scotland and its already been a long day.
Robert
