Focussing On Traffic And SEO Strategy To Have An Online Presence

Hi Folks

I read this great article so decided to give you the gist of it with this blog.

The article starts off by explaining that any small business that operates a brick and mortar in a particular location needs to be concentrating the bulk of its efforts into 'Local' Search Engine Optimization. When you consider that 75% of local mobile searches lead to in-store visits within 24 hours, this point is pretty hard to argue. The message is simple - have a mobile-friendly website.

For this reason small businesses need to get their business listed with popular and localized websites such as Google My Business, Bing Places for Business, Foursquare, Yelp and other directories.

Its also important to focus on reviews from local customers. Since 84% of customers trust online reviews as much as a personal recommendation. This is critical to generating business and becoming more visible in the Search Engine Results Pages because it creates a higher click-through rate.

The main goal in your local efforts is to get your business listed with as many reputable destinations as possible so you can create a significant number of reviews. Great word of mouth means more traffic to your store or website.

These results below are from a survey last year and I reckon they wont have changed that much since then.

The message is clear folks - Show people you’re open for business.

Have a Great Weekend.

Now, I lack reviews.

Jimmy, you only lack them now, but I bet you can get them. Think of your past clients who were thrilled with your service.

Make a list of the ones you remember were the happiest, Then try to find their email addresses and/ or contact info.. Write a great Review Request Letter re-introducing yourself, and show them the great testimonial they wrote you. Ask them to copy and paste it into a directory - make it easy for them.

I already wrote a post about this: but In fact, I think I'm going to write a separate post about this in greater detail. .

If you cannot, try to reach them on social media like I'm doing now. .

Why do you think like that, lol. Don't you know that it's my first time to be on this online world at this age? It's my first time to see success in this kind of venture and it's about to happen yet. But don't worry I take your challenge and I have to. Just wait for the right time.

Give it time Jimmy.
One step at a time.
Get your site up and running with good content then perhaps you will be ready to do reviews.
Thank you for reading my blog.
Enjoy your Friday.
Robert

You are welcome sir.

Jimmy, it wasn't meant as a challenge - it was meant as encouragement.

Sorry I didn't mean that you should jump ahead,
Robert is right, take it slow one step at a time and continue to write good content. .

You are dong great, continue at pace you are comfortable with.

Don't worry, I'll be there and I like your suggestion.

Great article Robert. This aligns and reaffirms what I was stating in my previous blog posts about how important reviews are in the most trusted directories from your past local customers.

That's my prime focus right now - getting reviews from our past overjoyed clients. But only 5 star reviews.

So far I have (2) 5 star reviews on Yelp. (1) 5 Star reviw on the Knot, and (1) 5 Star reviw on The Wedding Wire.
Hitting past clients on Linked In soon to get more.

I had you in mind when I did this blog Kaju.
I remember you saying something about targeting locally in your recent blog.
Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment.
Enjoy your Friday.
Robert
