How To Get The Most From A Free Ebook Marketing Campaign

A few members have been asking me questions about giving away a freebie to get visitors to sign up and want to know how to.
Its been quite some time since I gave away freebies but I will endeavour to explain how I used to do it using an eBook.
First of all, your ebook needs to have an attractive title. The title should grab the attention of your intended target audience. The more appealing the title, the more your ebook will be downloaded. (it really is as simple as that)
Your ebook also needs to have quality content. Your ebook will be read more if the content is original, so don't be tempted to copy someone else's work. I used to write my own but now you have programs such as fiverr (https://www.fiverr.com/services) where you can hire someone to do it for you.
You will want to put an Ad on the title page or on the table of contents something like the marketing example below. This will give the most exposure for your website or the products you're selling or promoting.
It's important to put your ebook in as many formats as possible. Most ebook software only allows the ebook to be read by certain browsers and software.
People may not take the time to download a new software program in order to read your ebook. Other versions of your ebook could be in HTML, auto responder and downloadable text format such as a PDF.
You can contact other business owners and ask them if they would like to include their Ad in your ebook. Just ask them in return to advertise your free ebook on their website. This would get your free ebook marketing campaign off to a fast start.
Allow the people who download your ebook to give it away to their visitors. This will multiply your ebook's exposure. Submit your ebook to the growing number of free ebook directories on the internet, such as the ones below.

These websites usually also offer more information about ebook marketing. Some of them also have ebook discussion forums where you can ask questions and learn more about ebook marketing.
One unique strength of eBooks is that they are downloadable. Instead of feeling like yet another post, a downloadable eBook feels way more like a real object of value.
This means you can use eBooks as lead generation tools, offering your users the chance to opt in with their contact information in exchange for your information. Writing an eBook also gives you the ability to showcase your authority on a subject in greater depth than an article allows.
