How many affiliate programs can you join with one website?
Also, some affiliate networks won't accept you until you have sufficient traffic. But, don't worry if you get rejected. You can apply again once you've got traffic.
You can join as many as you think relate to your niche, however, it is 1st wise to build your site with excellent content as many companies will reject your application unless you have done this before hand
I hope this helps

Can you join an affiliate program with a merchant and use there product as a niche.
Hi - you shouldn't narrow your niche down to just one product. Your niche should be a subject that you can write lots of content about and promote several products.
For example, if your niche was travel for seniors, you could promote lightweight luggage, walking aids, comfortable shoes etc.
This is not a best practice in my opinion. The reason I say that is because I niche should be something you can write about with many different topics. You want your niche to be something you can use to education people.
Once you pick your niche you can them build your products you want to sell around it.
I hope that helps.
Kevin
You can but you would be putting all of your eggs in one basket. Meaning you would be limiting your income sources.

I'm just curious about what a completed website might look like,.I started a website but didn't get far into getting setup so I'm going to delete it and start with a new one. W
Hi - we are not allowed to post links to our websites, it is seen as self-promotion. If a member wants to share their site they have to add it to their profile page but you have to be in their network to see it.
To be honest, a website built here will look like any other site you might come across in Google. You wouldn't know if it had been built here.
This is not correct. You ARE allowed to post your links.
WA is a community about getting help with your website, and there's nothing wrong with asking questions about it, or sharing an example of what you did to teach others. You can post links to your website within Wealthy Affiliate Live Chat, Classrooms, Private Messages, Blog Post, and the training modules as long as the context is helping people or asking for help.
The line is drawn at self promotion, or taking members away from WA for the purposes of driving traffic to your website.
For example, if I have a website about power tools and want some feedback on my affiliate page with promotion for a Dewalt drill, I can ask the community questions about that page, with a link to the page.
I'm not trying to sell a drill to anyone in WA, so the link is fine. I'm not asking WA members to get interested in power tools, or trying to leverage Wealthy Affiliate to benefit my website.
An example of when NOT to share is if I have a website about how to make money online and I share my landing page with a promotion for a "business opportunity" or a form for signing up to an email list". If I blog in WA about how Amazon FBA is a great way to make money online, but you have to go to my website to see how it works. That's a big no no.
Why the difference? The motivation for posting that link is not for getting help! Instead, the motivation is getting people to my website just to get traffic and sales for myself. Also, I'm trying to get people to spend money on stuff, and Wealthy Affiliate is a promotion free community.
There will be some grey areas when people doing "Affiliate Bootcamp" want feedback on their website or questions about stuff and want to share their blog post or page within WA to get said feedback or show examples of the problems you need help fixing. In that case, there may be some promotional material on your site, so what do you do?
The best way to navigate this area is to just be explicit about your intent. Write a disclaimer or something saying that you want help for [insert specific reason] and that although the page is promoting a product, you are not asking members to sign up.
That's just one example of navigating that grey area, and if your site isn't promoting 'biz ops', then you won't run into this issue really.
It's not OK to just share your link randomly in WA. It's also not OK to post your link at the end of your blog posts in the community as a "signature". It's also not OK to post your link and ask for people to click your affiliate links to help you make sales.
To recap, it's totally OK to post a link to your website as long as the context is that you are asking or offering help.
Thank you for your full clarification, Nathaniell. I didn't want to confuse a newbie by offering a detailed explanation of the platform. Cheers!

Hello to all, hope everyone is having a great day. To start off with I was ready to throw in the towel because of one obstacle I could not get over here at WA. With the help of
I'm so happy to hear that you are enjoying the site and finding the help you need, and double congrats on going yearly and locking in that awesome price point.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and well done on making the decision to go premium.
I remember reading that every major sportsman has at some stage had the desire to quit.
Pushing through the obstacles in front of us can be a very rewarding experience.
I wish you every success.
Darren :)
Thank you Darren, it's an awesome feeling to look at what you have in front of you, with WA. There is so much to learn, but all of the trainings are all right there for us to learn and succeed. Its nice to be apart of the 299 club.
Hey RickRoberts,
I totally understand what you were saying. I was a little skeptical at first. When I decided to pay the $19 to start, and saw what gold mine I had in front of me for training I was ALL IN.
Congratz on going with the Black Friday deal. Now you have one year to fine tune everything, and start driving your niche to the future.
Kevin
Hello, that's how I saw this, was this just another get rich scheme, until I really saw what they have as training really blew me away. Those other companies promise you money you never make, here I have not seen one thing like that, do the training and you will succeed.
Absolutely. They teach you the technique. It is up to us to implement it to be successful.
Best of Luck. Let me know if you need any help.

Hello to all, well tomorrow I was going to go for the 299 yearly deal, but I'm second guessing myself. I have started a website, but at a point where I am at a stand still. I'm
You absolutely can be successful at this Rick. Anyone who puts their mind to a focused task can get it done. You have excellent, proven training, and unparalleled support here in Wealthy Affiliate that will help you reach your goals. The community was the biggest asset in my own success, and I know it'll be a huge asset in your journey.
I truly believe that ANYONE can make serious money online in this business, and I'm going to do my best to help you get there!
Thank you Nathaniell, this is something that I'm going to work very hard at and accomplish my goals The website that I do have up I'm thinking about deleting it and starting off new.
Nothing wrong with starting fresh, especially in the beginning. Try stuff, break stuff, and keep working every day!
$.82/day for the rest of your time locked in . Buys you a lot of time to fix what is broken and keep moving forward! A small investment in yourself and your fledgling business, Rick!
Rarely are our first attempts ever what we envisioned, but we keep picking ourselves up, dusting ourselves off, and starting again!
One thing is certain in life--quitters never win, my friend!
You have a lot to ponder over the next couple of days. In the end, it is completely up to you, my friend!
Enjoy your weekend!
Jeff
Hello, I'm thinking I will delete the website I have and start completely over, but hey I will have alot of time to get it right.
Way to go! I deleted my original MMO site a month or so ago, and am planning to build a new one out on a better domain!
Awesome, Rick!
what's wrong?. do you think you need to change direction, or are you considering not continuing to create an online life as you are finding you don't like it?
I have had many 'breaks' to get my head back together, started second websites then deleted them and am currently changing the direction of my blog slightly. I don't regret making changes but I know I would regret it if I let all my time and effort go to waste.
Hello, I'm going to delete my website and start off fresh with a new one and continue on.
Hi Rick
I guess it all depends on how much you want a business online.
I knew nothing when I arrived here and had to go over the training a couple of times in some parts and now nearly 2 years later, I have 2 great sites all because I learned and learned and got there and you can too.
So how bad do you want it?
