I am so strapped for cash that I'm not going to have my premium payment on May 22. This makes me very sad, and very worried that all of my hard work will be lost.

Can so

I`m really sorry things are not going to plan. Try and Pm Kyle he might be able to help you out.
You can move your domain to a different host, that way, you`ll not lose all your hard work.
There is cheap hosting out there (I just don`t know about the quality you`ll get)so look around.

If the PayPal payment can't be taken, it will try a further 2 times, with a few days between (can't remember the exact number). If on the 3rd attempt it still can't be processed, then your account will be closed and your websites will be taken offline. You can re-subscribe at any time to re-activate your account, but your website will only be held as backups for 60 days, which is what will be used to restore your website when you return. It is advisable to take a full backup of your website (not just the WP Export method).

They will try 3 times to collect but PM. Kyle anyway

I would PM Kyle and find out if anything can be done.

They may shut off access to the platform but I think you can still work your website. I'm not positive.

Sooooo, I have 60 posts on my blog. And I just tried to add all 60 as sub items on my menu, under the heading Blog. But only 8 of them show up in the drop-down menu.

Menus don't come with scroll bars so you can't have more items on the drop-down menu than will fit on the screen. Use categories to group your posts. https://marionblackonline.com/categories-vs-tags/

Thanks, Marion. It's being trickier than I expected.

I'd have to have a LOT of categories to make it work.
I'll have to think on it, and see what I can come up with.

Don't have more categories than will fit on the screen. I try to keep the number under 8.

I think it goes by what applicable for the topic. Don't believe there is a limit. I would just use a different font for the subheadings to differentiate them from the original topic.

No, not subheadings, sub items in the main menu. They are the menu items that drop down when you hover over a menu item.

I'm only getting 8 showing, when there should be around 60. 😫

Ok, I understand now but why not separate them into different menu items so you can include all of them.

I'm not sure. I'll have to see if I can break them down into different categories. But they're almost all about gardening.

I was going to save categories for when I started adding other aspects of permaculture to the site: natural building, alternative energy, greywater systems, etc.

I'll have to think on it a bit more.

You don't have to change the categories, just add extra menus and call the menus something relative to the articles you will list under them.

But I'm going to have categories that have upwards of 30 posts in them! And that doesn't work, as I have recently discovered. : ) Which means I'd have to try to break it down into even more categories, and . . .

I think I'll just skip putting the posts in the menu. : )

Just let them roll, will the latest at the top or however you want them to be seen order wise.

I actually don't know if there is a limit or if themes are the limiting factor (i.e., one theme allows x and another allows y, etc.). What I can recommend is doing it as I have on my drone site:
https://mavicmaniacs.com

If you look at my site, I created a menu option for the categories themselves and if you click on one, it takes you to a blog roll page that lists posts that are assigned to that category. I have it set to 10 per page but that can be changed or you can leave it at 10 and if there are more it will simply provide an option to go to the next page, etc.

Thanks, Scott.

Yes, I'll do that with categories eventually – when I have more – but almost all of the post are about gardening right now, and are already in a blog roll on the Home page. So it seems rather redundant to have them in a blog roll on another page as well.

I just wanted them all listed in a dropdown so people could see all of the titles, without having to scroll and click so much. But maybe that's not the way to do it.

I'll have to keep playing with it, I guess, and see what else I can come up with.

Sorry, I don't have a more elegant solution for you. Let me know what you come up with!
