I am looking to to add my pic to my user profile for my blogs. How do I do that?

I got the image added to mine, but how do you add the descriptive paragraph you usually see below them? I only see and option for a title.

Never mind I figured it out. If you edit the image, there is a place for a caption.

You mean like the little author bio that you sometimes see on blogger's websites when they post a blog post?
You could probably add that in the "caption" section. I think that would get you want you're looking for. Does that make sense?

As for me, I made a little signature graphic on PicMonkey that has my photo and description, and it's one little media file. That may be more complicated than you're looking for though. :-)

I like your idea better than what I have!

Yes, I was thinking caption would be your best bet. Let me know if you ever need any help! Kelli

I keep meaning to post a PicMonkey tutorial, as that's how I make all my graphics and I love it. It's a little confusing to use though. Heidi if you want, I'd be more than happy to make you a little graphic to use with your photo and a bio (for free). Just attach the photo you want and what you want the bio to say. I make these all the time. :-)

I would love that! A tutorial at some point would be great too. I have been playing around with Picmonkey lately and would love to know how to use it better. I will message you a picture and bio later today. Thanks so much!

You're so welcome! Will touch base with you in a bit! :-)

I did as Kelli said very easy in menu to add your photo.

Hello, there are a couple ways to do this.

First, where do you want your photo to appear?

If you want to add your photo or a signature to the bottom of each post, that's one option.

You would just insert your media file at the bottom of your post.

If you want your photo to appear in the sidebar of your website, you could do that as well.

You would just add an image widget to the sidebar, then insert your media file into the widget.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions!
Kelli

Thanks Kelli, will check it out.

When you create a post you can use the add media button above the editor, then upload your profile pic.

Or you can go to https://gravatar.com and link your current email then it will appear. You will also need to go to your settings in WordPress click on discussions then at the bottom of the page, you will have a choice of different avatar methods. Choose gravatar.

Thanks Gaijin.

Gravatar seems a little complicated, hence will try it out...

Thanks a lot.

its quite easy really and then when you add your email address you add other addresses you want to link to your email.

Thanks Gaijin. Wasn't as difficult as expected :) got it done.

HI, i changed the theme for my website and the Home, Privacy Policy and Pages tabs are not showing even though it was on the theme I selected. Do I have to redo or is there a w

Good info to know,
Scarlett

Got it. thanks Mike & Smartkeeter :)

Owesome advise guys.

You can "revert" your theme anytime.

When you have multiple themes installed, one is active and the other ones are inactive. All you have to do is to re-activate the desired theme. Just hover your mouse over it and you'll se the Activate button

Just go to appearance > themes > and click on activate on the old theme.

How do I revert to my old theme?
