Hi Rean.
Do you want that coment published on your site? I would not, we are not that desperate for comments and we should nurture our sites.
It sounds like bot talk or the author is drunk!

Hi all. Is there anyone promoting Market Health products. Just wondered if you would recommend them.
Thanks

Hi PjGerman
Glad to hear you have used Market Health. I was rather confused with their linkingsite. . The tracker especially. Where isn't one one supposed to place it etc. I Can handle the html link. I have friends who have used 1 or 2 of their products but the buy them directly from the company. So me of their stuff isn't good but I was trying to find out about their Affiliate program
Thanks Pj.
Cheers
Rean
Yea, it was a wee confusing at first. They have trackers for each of their products and then, special ones for different categories of each product, depending how you want the commission.
Rean, have you made some searches using Google? I just did and I found a lot of negative information and a couple of positive reviews. Apparently there has been some issues with cookies that are not properly set resulting in affiliates not getting their commission.
I have not the answer to this questions, but before you sign up do a proper due diligence of the company that was called JoeBucks before.
When and if you satisfy yourself that there is no intentional scam going on, but it is an explainable technical glitch then join and prosper!

Hi Rolfkb,
Thank you so much for your insight. I will do my due deligence.. look into it a bit more..My confusion was the linking.. you get an html one and then they also give you a tracking link.. I am not sure how it all works.where the tracking link goes that isn't. Whether if you leave out the tracking link it would impact on your results.
Some of their products are quite popular on ebay and Amazon but I am not sure how their affiliate program works.
Again thanks for a candid reply.
Cheers
ReaN. .
From my research they have excellent commissions and many are happy with their affiliate program. I do not have this niche, but I would definitely use them if I did. Hope this helps! Linda

This is appearing on my site dashboard: Akismet has detected a problem. How do I configure Akismet for continued free usage?
This blog by Kyle covers everything you need to know about Akismet going 'greedy' and gives a link to the plugin he suggests (this is what the response from PjGermain is also suggesting). I have done this to a website and it works quite well with no problems. Akismet Plugin - The Dark Side of Greed.
Ah that's ok then.. I hadn't done anything to it but this message has been showing and I wondered if I needed to correct something on it.
I have SpamShield so i will go ahead and remove Akismet.
Thanks so much Pj.

There are many plugins you can use for Social Media. I actually use two of them because they both do different things. If your search under plugins you will find tons of them and one will suit your style. Good luck.
Rean, I found this helpful blog by Ersonp24 ..
While working today on my website, I've learned some simple steps on how to add social media icons like Facebook and Twitter and thought it's worth sharing. Here's how:
1. On your Dashboard, click on Plugins --> Add New. This will open the Install Plugin page.
2. On the Install Plugin page, type the word "social" in the Search field. This will provide you a list of plugins which will allow you to add social media icons.
3. Choose the plugin which you would like to install. In my case, I chose Super Socializer by The Champ but it's really up to you which one you'd like to install for your website. The steps below may not be applicable if you'd select a different plugin.
4. Install and activate the plugin. Once activated, you should now see Super Socializer on your Dashboard.
5. Click on Super Socializer and then click on Social Sharing. This will bring you to the Basic Configuration page.
6. You will see two (2) tabs. Provider Selection and Social Sharing tabs.
7. Under Provider Selection tab, choose the social media icons you would like to place on your website by putting a check mark beside them.
8. Under Social Sharing tab, you'd be able to choose the title, location, and areas on your website you would like the icons to appear.
That's it. Your social media icons should be ready for your visitors to share your website to social media networks. You can explore the plugin for additional options.
Note: To disable sharing on particular page/post, edit that page/post and check the "Disable Social Sharing on this page" option at the bottom in "Super Socializer" section.
Hi Dan
Thank you so much for the detailed article on social plugins. I am now now quite conversant with the process. . Thanks to all the great advice from all you my amazing WA friends.
Something I have realised though is that my theme doesn't list the plugins like what is mentioned in this article, even as it's shown in Kyle's tutorial. . And it's very skimpy on the configuration options.. Anyway I am all set now. Again thanks for your help.
Cheers

So glad I found this! I was wondering the same thing, so just curious is it better to use the like from facebook then the share? Is this going to connect to my facebook page & my google +?
You can try adding something like sumome and select the social media share buttons you want or you can look at the one Kyle suggests Setting Up Social Plugins on Your Website - Tweet, Like, Google +1 and Share
Hi Katie Mac

Hi Rean,
Go to your installed plugin section in your admin section of your website, click on add new plugin, in the search bar type in social media icons and a list will appear and you can choose what type of social media icons you want to display on your website. I hope that I have been helpful in answering your question. :)
Hi Rean, there are plug-ins you can install such "Tweet, Like G+1 & Share" or "Sociable". Just go to the "Plug-ins" tab, type either of these in and you can install it from there. :)

Edit it to make sense...It's a little confusing but I think it was meant positively.
