I am currently underemployed and cannot afford the monthly fee for awhile. Is there any way to temporarily pause WA premium monthly membership and not lose my progress?

I am only on Social Security and can not afford the monthly fee, did not realize it was going to be taken out of my bank account and need it put back into my account asap before another bill comes through. If that means cancelling my membership, so be it. Please, if I have have to speak to the powers that be, let me know how I can do that so we can get this accomplished. Thank you!

You have only been here a couple of days Sherry, why didn't you take the full 7 day trial.
I say this because you must have joined as a premium.

I'm afraid wealthy affiliate does not give refunds.

Also as a premium member you cannot go back to being a free member.

Hi Richard, sorry to hear that...I see your question's been answered, but another option is to take advantage of Black Friday offer... Have you seen Kyle's latest blog? You'd have to pay a hefty amount at a time, but Black Friday offer works out as 6 months free. Your current monthly payment would be automatically adjusted (=worked out daily & the balance will be refunded) when you go yearly.

That's just an option :-)

You can cancel your account and rejoin whenever you're ready. Make sure you create your own backup

Leo has given a perfect link to check out.

This will answer all your questions:

LOL - Leo, I already linked it below.

Yeah I saw that after I posted - remember my brain fart comment in chat - guess what? It's back.

No - you cannot go back to a free membership from Premium.
What you can do is cancel your membership altogether then signup again after a few days as a free member.
You will of course only have the 7 day trial but you can stay as a free member for as long as you like.
Robert

Your websites will be backed up, but will not be available to the Internet. You may move them off WA and host them elsewhere if you choose, you have 30 days to make those changes.

Trying to see the features offered by registering through WA as opposed to using someone else.

In addition to what Dreamer has mentioned, you may want to check this out.

Thank you that is exactly what I was looking for.

You're welcome =)

Domain registration is pretty cut and dried. Except for Whois privacy wich is included with WA registration.
