If someone clicks on my affiliate link, hat is included in the current starter membership? Is the 7 day free look still in effect? What are all the details?
It's not a 7 day free trial, there is no "end" to the starter membership. There is a bonus offer for the first 7 days, which includes at least one free domain, and up to 10,000 word credits.
I would recommend if you want, you can keep in the loop through my "Beer With Kyle" Friday vlogs which are a state of affairs, where I am continually updating the community here on the changes and current state of the starter membership.
If you ever do have any questions though, let us know. :)
Thanks Kyle, yeah, I try to stay in the loop and I watched your most recent "Beer" vlog. My problem is, I am experiencing information overload and I'm not sure where to focus my attention. I've been so focused on putting out content that I've fallen behind on many other things. I've surpassed 100 articles on one of my sites and 50 on the other, all of which has happened since July 2023. I often feel lost. I often feel like I was invited to a party but didn't get the invitation until after the party. I'm having difficulty keeping up with all the changes. There is so much good information, so many good sources of information and helpful people, that I feel overwhelmed. I'm not complaining. I'm just being honest. I feel I'm close to finally breaking out and making things happen but I also feel like I can hear the good music all around me but I can't seem to comprehend the lyrics. I hope that all makes sense. If my years of time with WA was a pro baseball career, it often feels like I have been and will be confined to life in AA or AAA and that MLB will never happen. On the other hand, I know I have what it takes, but for some reason, I've never been able to put it all together. I don't mean to rant but I'm more than a little frustrated. Thanks for reading.
Bob
Thanks for the heads up. The comparison chart is the reason why I asked my question. What I'm still not clear about is, do we still offer free membership beyond one free month? How does that work? Do they get to keep the practice website or is the deal, you either upgrade by the end of the free month or you're out?
Bob
The starter account is a test drive of the Wealthy Affiliate platform to see if it fits their business needs and objectives. They get the one siterubix subdomain through hubs.
When they decide to upgrade (access premium training and unlock the platform), they will receive the tools, training, and a free dot com domain name.
Check out the latest blog post from Kyle to learn more about what's available for stater folks Beer With Kyle: Navigating Change in Business, Hubs Update, Affiliate Programs. The premium plus unlocks the advanced webinars when you are ready to take your business to the next level.
The starters can stay and communicate free; however, not in the live chat. (there's NO TIMING as such) but of course, they're limited to what they can do, so there is the opportunity to upgrade their accounts
I don't know if their draft websites expire after a certain period; it used to be six months from when they signed up.

There is no hat 🎩 included with a membership but a cool WA Hat might a good incentive hook to get newbies to join.

Two of the metrics presented in Site kit are: All visitors, unique visitors, and clicks. I don't understand the differences.
Can someone explain?
Bob
Hey Robert,
All Visitors: This metric typically represents the total number of visits to your site over a specific period, including repeat visits by the same individuals. If one person visits your site five times in a day, all five visits would be counted.
Unique Visitors: This metric is used to count each visitor only once within the chosen time frame, regardless of how many times they visit the site. It helps you understand how many different people have visited your site. So if the same person visits your site five times in a day, they will only be counted once.
Clicks: This metric counts the number of times visitors have clicked on links within your site. It is useful for tracking user engagement and the effectiveness of your site's layout and link placements.
Hope this helps :)
Yes, it does.
If I understand correctly, a visitor is anyone who visits my site and a click is only if they click a link once they are on my site?
Right?
Bob
Site kit has to do with your websites if installed but not the WA platform. They're different entities :)

There are other ways, but they require technical know-how for customizations. No problem :)

Is there a way we can create rolling content?

Thanks Abie. That's on my bucket list already. Looks like it needs to move up a few notches.
