How many articles did you publish before you started to notice?
I honestly don't remember, it was all so fast. It takes less than you might think, but you still need to produce content as often as possible. I
n my first premium month I think I did about 1 article per day. By month 2 I was seeing traffic build slowly. In Month 3 I was offline for a while, and traffic stayed steady.
Now that I'm producing again, and getting towards month 4, Google trusts me more and some of my older articles are also rising in the Google ranks.
My advice is, focus on keywords and content - not on current rankings. If you keep producing, you'll get there.

I know I can enter my keyword phrases into Google I've used for my articles, but I want to see if this is a viable way to test to make sure my articles do in fact show in SERP.
Hi there,
If you are using Google chrome, just open a new incognito window, and type in your keyword phrase. You may need to go through many pages before you can find your page rankings.
If you are using a low competition keyword, then it will be a little easier.
The reason for you to use "incognito window" is because you would not want your previous search history to interfere with the search results that you are going to get.

By definition someone who does SEO doesn't do marketing. As they are different things. Someone who does SEO just has the aim of getting a site to the top of Page 1 on Google.
If you don't want to wait for Google or don't have the SEO skills to get a site onto page one quickly then you'll need to try a more marketing based approach.
One way is to spend money on some type of paid ads eg. Adwords / Facebook etc. The same way as many businesses get their customers. But you'll have to learn about how to do that effectively.
Or you'll need to be producing awesome content and will have to proactively market your content and spend a lot of time looking for sites where you can share it.
The aim being to produce content that's so great other people in the same field want to share it with their fans and followers on social media and practically beg you to do a guest post on their site where you can then link back to your own site.
This approach doesn't have to cost you anything. But does require a lot of time, effort , great ideas and great writing ability. See http://backlinko.com/ for how to do this.
Publishing a steady stream of unique, consistent, value-added, and quality content to your site that has information that people in your niche are searching for.

My website is hosted by Godaddy. Will I still maintain my website with Godaddy? I want to take full advantage of the information and service available here on WA but what happe
If your site is hosted at WA you can take advantage of some of the other features such as site comments and feedback, which many members find beneficial. unfortunately they are not available on other hosting platforms.
If the site is on Godaddy you will need to back it up or export it before you change the name servers. Then when re-named import in onto WA. If you ask the guys in support they will help you out to do this.
After backing up and changing name servers, I would still maintain the site on Godaddy and upload after I revise it each time under the renamed version to WA? I will check with Godaddy support. Thanks!
Once you transfer your site's contents from godaddy to WA hosting, all of your site maintenance will be done through siterubix.
Domain name registration and site hosting are two separate things -- Godaddy will still hold your domain registration and you'll still need to renew your domain registration there. The DNS settings at godaddy, though, will point all accesses of your site to WA's servers. You'll no longer need to pay for godaddy hosting.
