What is the content network?
The content network is an advertising platform that Google created to allow people to serve Google ads directly from their website and get paid for this.
This is called Google Adsense and you will find that there are many members here at Wealthy Affiliate that use Adsense on their sites.
As an advertiser, you can become one of these ads on other people's sites and drive traffic to your business that way. You pay Google for these placements and you can target specific sites with your ads.
So on one side, you have a website owner making money from serving ads. On the other side, you have companies/people paying for these ads. Google is in the middle and handles all of this technology.
Hi Kyle,
Thank you for your explanation what "content network" means.
Your answer totally satisfies me.
I have Adsense ads on one of my websites but now I have to place an ad myself. Mike Geary from Truth About Abs writes in his affiliate letter that you can get clicks for as low as 0.02 - 0.05 cents/click!
Kind regards,
Adrian Joele
