Last wekend, I happened to read a local advertising magazine when an advert caught my eye. It was from a local printing company and lately they have advanced into the business of website design.

Nothing wrong with that you might say.... absolutely. The issue that had me taken aback was what they were offering in their advert.

In their standard website package, they offered to construct a website, that was fully optimised for Google Search Engine and they would also, uniquely design 5 website pages. Cost €475. ( US $560 )

In their budget website design they would do pretty much as above, except we would only get 3 uniquely designed pages for our website. It would be also optimised for search engine. Cost €380. ( US $450 )

Both options came with standard photo gallery and if wanted extra images uploaded to our sites, they would accomodate us with an additional editable gallery for a cost of €70. Both of these options exclude domain name and hosting ( Approx cost of this extra would be €100/yearly )

Don't get me wrong, but I have no doubt that, their work would be a professsional, top of the range, well organised, accomplished and uniquely designed website as they promised on their advert.

That said, I am not sure if visitors would be examining the design, layout theme and all those other issues when they land on a website in their search for whatever they are looking for.

Granted first impressions are critical to our success and we have only one chance to make it count, so therefore our websites have to be eyecatching, busisness like and make that everlasting impression upon our audience and visitors.

Now let's look at what we have available here at Wealthy Affiliate;

For starters, there is a choice of approx 5000 or so ( and counting ) wordpress website themes that we can choose from. On top of that we have website security in the form of SSL Certs, there is IT support, website support, free email facilities and storage, plus 25 free website hosting options.

There is site content tracker and assist, newly introduced, we can upload as many images or photos as we wish. ( 5 GB of storage )

There are 5 Certificate Training Courses, each containing 10 detailed and informative lessons. and much much more and I haven't even mentioned the WA Bootcamp, which contains more top training in website design and SEO.

To be honest, I could be here until next week explaining and detailing all the other extras that come with our $49/m sbscription. ( Apologies...I forgot to mention the great community support and back-up, access to the 2 CEOs, unheard of in today's similar industries )

In our own websites we would have say, 10 - 20 pages on our sites, we may have anywhere from 20 - 50, or perhaps 100 posts or more, in many cases. Upload as many images as our heart's desired. There are backlinks, internal links, Social media marketing training and so on and a lot more, as you know yourselves. ( How much would that cost from this advertising website design company..... )

I am not here to run down or bad mouth this advertising company by any means, I just wished to make an honest comparison and give an unbiased detailed description of what we have here at WA and outline the costs that we would otherwise incur, had we not have this great online opportunity that we have here at WA.
