Small step - great feeling!

Hello to you all WA-friends!

I have been struggling with writing my first blog on my website for about a week now. It was hard enough writing the first main pages, but as I wanted to write the blog I got stuck.

My progress in the certification course has slowed down considerably, because of this. Started to look what the nexts steps are, yearning to go on. But my conscience said, Pernilla, you have to stay on track, you have to follow the course step by step. Otherwise you will miss something important. So I went on searching for inspiration in books (print version) and articles online about the subject I wanted to write about. I followed the advice from one of my WA-friends Jerome, to always have a little notebook in reach, in case of an idea might arise out from the depths of my brain!

Yesterday evening I finally had my breakthrough. Yes, the ideas suddenly started to take shape in the form of whole sentences. I went on writing and suddenly the midnight hour came. Then I started to add some pictures. At one o’clock middle in the night, my blog was done. It is such a great feeling.

Now, if you are stuck in a writer’s block or any other blocks and you feel like you work too slowly, then have the following quote in mind:

« It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop. »
Quote by Confucius

Great post Pernilla, congratulations on pushing through that block.

Marty, great to see you.

Yes, it is such a relief. The first web-blog was not easy at all. Now I have quite a lot of ideas for future blogs. But I'm prepared for new challanges. Life is like a roller coaster - it goes up and down.

By the way how's it going Down Under? Everything OK on the roads? Hope you are doing well on the "internet road" as well.

Have a safe journey!
:-)

Lovely post and lovely snail. Keep moving forward and keep trying. Good luck.

Melani, I appreciate a lot that you took your time to read my post. Thank you so much for your encouraging words. Very motivating, indeed. Wish you good luck too.

Thanks for this. I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what to write and your blog has helped a lot

Luba, I'm so glad that my blog post is helpful to you. That's really why I posted it - to let people know that it's worth it to keep on trying even if it is hard inbetween. Read, take notes, ask questions, look for inspiration everywhere - just do not give up.
Luba, you will find the answer, I'm sure.
:-)

I find this very helpful. I read some inspiring true stories it says, "persistence and determination are omnipotent".

Hello Darin!
That's so good to hear that you find my post/comment helpful. Yes please, do keep on looking for the answers wherever you can. The most important is not to give up if you get stuck, just try and try and all of a sudden a "door" will open up.
