Check where you are really
Hi guys and Gals
Just wanted to share this with you as I have been shown a new tool and I think it is great -
I have always used https://www.checkpagerank.net to check my position in the web and how my site is doing - see below
All well and good and slowly site is improving but at a snails pace!
This program is great but only shows you half of what this new program shows!
The latest program is call nibbler - http://nibbler.silktide.com
Just go to the site and type in your website ~ see below
OK press the test button and this will appear - see below
This appears after a few minutes and you just keep scrolling down and will see so much info about your website and things to improve on it
Now I looked at this report and thought well not so bad even with all my errors I still get an 8.2 overall score
So I decided to put in my competitions website who are a multi million dollar company and been in business twenty years - exactly and this is how they looked ~ see below
OMG and now I do not feel so bad at all!!!
All good fun
Paul

Good afternoon Paul,
Now, this is a nice tool to try on a Sunday, I hope I get a decent result.
Have a good Sunday, Taetske
I went to check Paul. As I am not doing social media that has a negative influence. Overall I am 5.9. Incoming links and Code Quality are really bad. 1.5 and 2.0. The rest is ok, good and quite a few are 10. What is good that they tell you where and also how you can improve.
At least the struggle I had time ago on Speed on Mobiles is fine now. So you gave me some more to work on but that is good.

Hi Paul - Nice tool. I got a 7.3 overall. My site needs more social media interaction (scored very low here) and more link building (easier said than done).
I have this one bookmarked as it did a good job of showing me things I can actually repair. Thanks for sharing.
That's a really interesting and useful way of evaluating one's progress. Thanks so much for sharing! I'll have to revisit this one again at a later date... :)
