My name is Ayodeji Owoeye. I am an experienced freelance writer and an SEO specialist but spends my leisure periods on my poultry farm.

Although I earn my daily income from freelance writing(creative writing, research papers, and blog article writing), in a bid to give back to society at large, I have developed a blog on poultry farming where I share poultry farming tips.

Hello there!

Thank you, for following us! did you ever get help with how to add links to your home page? It took us a while before over standing it too...LOL . We had to go back several times to the training here on WA to find out how. Its so much to learn here and very informative tools on how to build a successful online business.

My wife and I haven't been on here in a while due to trying to catch-up with all the courses and running our online business at the same time. If you still need help private message me and I can show you step-by step.

Be Well,

Parameter! I LOVE chickens! They get entirely too little credit!. When I was a teenager living on my family's dairy farm, I was needed on the farm, so could not take a job off the farm to earn money for university. As a solution, my dad bought me 300 chicks to raise and sell. Every year, I raised and sold those birds, and was able to raise the money for tuition and residence for 2 degrees, Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education. Dad always got me White Rock chicks, and they would weight about 15 to 18 pounds each dressed. When I had my own little farm, I had the Barred Rock hens, and they provided me all the eggs I could use, plus enough to cover their costs. Recently, I lived in Ethiopia, and the hens there were free roaming, little birds that we would have called bantams in Canada. They weighed perhaps 3 pounds, and there was one little white hen that roosted on my window sill at night, and, if I had my door to my rooms open, would wander in for a visit. I loved the sound of her coo-ing on the window sill.
I'm new her4e at WA, but am thrilled with the quality of information and people here! Looking forward to seeing you soar to your goals,
Marilyn

Hello MariWahooo,

I love what I have just read. Although my story is a little different from yours. I grew up with my parents bought civil servants. But they kept backyard chicken because my dad loves the chicken meat.
But alongside towards my last year in high school, I decided to keep about 50 broilers for Christmas. I did and got a bounty sale. As at then, the cash I made was reasonable for me to enjoy the festival.
That was the trigger, I started seeing the potential beyond keeping backyard chicken for family consumption. I started seeing a potential source of income.
Now I see blogging and freelancing, but my farm is always there.

I must say, welcome to WA. I love to collaborate, good team soar together.

Wishing you all the best.

Hello Ayodeji, Thanks for following me. I see you are a freelance writer, I'm actually looking to get into freelance writing for some extra income. Not really sure of how lucrative freelance writing can be but I like writing an the research I've done kind of scared me away being have no experience or writers profile. Do you have any suggestions on helping me get started? Thanks for any information.
