Forget About Money If You Want To Make Money

Wealth, Money, Success and Freedom. Four simple words everyone thinks of when they search the internet for ways how to make some extra money and then being able to replace their job with it.

Lately I see quite a few new members asking the same questions.

• How long does it take to make money?
• Is Wealthy Affiliate legit?
• Does it work?
• Etc.

The answers are usually the same. It’s not a get rich quick theme. It takes time. It depends on you how successful you are. Let’s stop right there for a minute.

It depends on YOU is such a strong phrase, yet many seem to misinterpret it and that’s usually the case with those dropping out within their first three months. They keep misinterpreting what wealth, money, success and freedom truly means. Yes, the dictionaries have their own good explanations but it’s a whole different story when it comes to put those words into action and achieve what they mean.

Let’s assume that Wealth, Money, Success and Freedom were strangers and they decided to knock on your door. Would you let the strangers in or even bother to open the door just wide enough to see who’s there? Probably not because we see the stranger in them and NOT their potential good they have for us.

That’s pretty much the same with Wealthy Affiliate. Every new member has the same potential than any other member. It’s up to THEM if they see Wealth, Money, Success and Freedom at the end of their journey. This is the first time we encounter that it depends on US.

The usual time that members quit is around the three months mark with a fairly high quote. I believe that the drop out quote is much higher within the first week of being a member at WA though, because Wealthy Affiliate is nothing else but a stranger to them and they don’t see the potential in it.

Don’t Think Money if You Want to Make Money!

Sounds confusing? Let’s assume you want to learn a foreign language. Do you think you would have it down over night or in one week? If you’re good, you can manage to say Hello the next day and that’s it. What does it take to learn a foreign language? Correct, it takes time and years to perfection.

Now look at the “language” you need to learn to achieve Wealth, Money, Success and Freedom. You can’t do this in a day, week or month.

So, how do you learn the language of Wealth, Money, Success and Freedom?

The answer: Forget about the money and just do it! Remember, every member here is offered the same potential than everyone else and it is UP TO YOU what you do with it. If it’s all a bunch of strangers to you, then keep that door shut and go on with your life just like you did before you joined WA.

Wealthy Affiliate and what it offers is NOT just about money and making money online. The potential it gives you is a reflection of what you can do with it and the lifestyle you can create, including Wealth, Money, Success and Freedom.

Do you see why committed members always answer with “It depends on YOU”? Because this is the one and only answer there is if you want to know how money is made with and/or within Wealthy Affiliate.

Don’t think money if you want to make money. I know it’s almost impossible to not think about money when you want to create an online business but trust me, it’s a crucial factor if you want long-term success with a passive income for years to come.

It won’t work if you think money. I know because that’s what I did and I failed. :)

5 Tips Before I let You Move on

(1) Commit yourself, also subconsciously. Commitment is the ultimate power to make everything happen, including making money.

(2) Organize your life to adapt to your commitment. If you want to make this work, you need to not only change yourself, but also your life and lifestyle. If you’re a couch potato, what are the chances that you’re creating a successful online business if you can’t get off the couch and leave the TV alone? Zero chance!

(3) Plan your week. Include your daily routine like your job, homework with kids, etc. and plan at least 1 hour for your business. Stick to this plan and let NOTHING ELSE interfere with it.

(4) Educate yourself and get help when you need it. If you don’t understand a task or have never heard about SEO (search engine optimization) before, then don’t let the lack of knowledge discourage you. WA has a great community and support. We’re more than happy to help you with anything. No question is a stupid question. Just reach out and we’re there to catch you and bring you back on the right track.

(5) Don’t give up. There will be times where you want nothing more than to just quit and leave. Don’t let this affect you, because if you quit, you lose any potential given to achieve Wealth, Money, Success and Freedom. Trial and Error belong to this like air to our lungs. Thomas A. Edison once said: “Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”
