Hey WA family.
As the question says:
1) When I see our posts indexed in Google we have the KW phrase followed by either a - (hyphen) or a | (pipe).
When we set
Hi guys - I'm not sure about the pipes, that has been a problem for me too with AIO SEO. But I do know that google may ignore your SEO title and text and put whatever it is from your text it thinks most relevant to the search - so nothing you can do about that. Hope this is helpful. Glyn
Thanks Glyn,
I suspected that with Google overriding the settings.
Thanks for your help:))
Hi John,
Here are some images that should explain it.
Also for image 6 why is there a portion of our latest post under the general website heading? I thought the AiO SEO used something else?
Just put the home description (Image 7) in that should show instead of our latest post under the site title in a general search for Raw Food Reviver.

Why a mix of pipes and hyphens and a different home title?
Hey WA family.

I left a rather lengthy comment yesterday; seems it disappeared.
I don't know about the pipe vs hyphen issue. That's a mystery to me.
I searched or "raw food reviver" and got this result:
Raw Food Reviver: Blog
rawfoodreviver.com/
When you crave a certain type of food, your body is asking you for something very specific. How Cupcakes and sweet candy do you
This is something Google just does. Picking something out of your content, and display it because they think it's more relevant than what you entered.
I wouldn't worry too much about this stuff. It just distracts you from what's important. As long as Google sees your site, you are ok.
John
Thanks John,
Yes you are right about the distraction part. No sign of any comment yesterday so that is a mystery?
Cheers for the help and best wishes:))

Hey WA family
The other day we updated our All in One SEO as we usually do when it says so. Anyway we discovered it had deactivated?
I don't remember turning it off
Not really don't worry. Do you know how it switched it's self off, that's the most concerning?
Hi Sharon,
Now it is activated and perhaps (but highly unlikely) I may have just deactivated it without noticing.
In terms of the concern I will keep a check on it.
Thank you for your help:))

Hi WA family.
A quick question.
One of our Private Affiliates only ships to US and Canadian customers.
If we give an Amazon option for others with the:
<
It doesn't matter how many no-follows you have on a post. If you have a thousand follow links aiming at ie Amazon , Google only sees one of them so don't worry.
Thanks Sharon.
Would that be the case if you had some links going to your private affiliate and one somewhere else like Amazon because then Google may see 2 paths?
If both are no-follow and are going to different locations, google sees them as different links.
What about making just the Amazon a no follow and letting them follow the private affiliate? Then would this mean that Google sees only one as it will not follow it?
Thanks:)
I believe so, why are you so concerned about it? It's all about what's most important to you and that it's google friendly. I'd personally make all Amazon links no-follow. My most important high earners I leave be. Hope that helps.
