Good question and all questions are good ones here ...
If you've already bought a TLD such as a dot com ... then you own it for the duration / time period (e.g. 1 or 2 years) that you bought it for and there are no changes or refunds which is the general policy of all domain providers....
To change your domain name, you'll need to make another purchase ... and please do ensure that it has the exact spelling that you want it for ....
When i first started, i bought two domains and many other since then ... we all live and learn ...
If, by chance, you built on a siterubix (sub-domain), you can simply delete it and start anew .... these are good for test sites or 'sandbox' to try new things out and to find out what the possible effects might be ...

as a premium member you could've set up a test site and site rubric will play around with. However, you have bought the domain
and you can transfer it to his real home when you have played about whether.
Build the site on sandbox.com and then go to dashboard/tools/export/export all. Download the files to your computer.
Install WordPress on your correct domain and then go to dashboard/import/import word press/upload file and save
You then have your new site
Thank you for that info. Unfortunately I have just bought another domain so I will just le this domain run its course for 12 months then won't renew. I haven't lost much so am not worried. But thank you for that advice and I will prob use that info in the future to set up a site in sandbox.com. Much appreciated:)

Yes, try to keep it short, easy for other people to spell and remember, no hyphens, and definitely get a dot com, not dot anything else.

Does anyone have any ideas on how hard this is for a Niche. Just looking for something a little different to selling low cost products. this would be my first Niche as I have
You should ask these questions:
Is it legal?
Is it your passion?
Are you knowledgeable about this chosen niche?
Choose the one you have more confidence saying yes!

Welcome to WA and choosing a niche can be a challenge.
My suggestion is to write a list of all the things you enjoy or could help people with.
Maybe you have a favourite product or something that you love.
Choose something you enjoy as it will make it easy for your 1st site

I see you have lottery or sports betting in your title
These would not be a good choice due to legalities etc
Thanks for that Vicki. I was not aware that there are any legalities with sports betting or Lottoland as they are known world wide. I will do more research on this and maybe move to another concept. Thank you for the heads up:)
