The Beauty Of Green
Hello Guys 'n Dolls,
I hope you are all doing well or as can be helped under your current circumstances.
I know that life happens and we ALWAYS have a choice - go with the flow (even at times it might be a 'tough pill to swallow' or be like a salmon and 'swim upstream against the current'. Either way, you get to make the choice.
SO, it has been two consecutive days that I have driven the same road and on both occasions, it has been lovely to see Mother Nature in action.
There is a wood storage facility on my journey and it stores the cut wood into large open air-like shed and it like the sheds are sitting on top of an earth mound. Recently they expanded their storage and so there was some earth not yet planted with grass.
WELL, we had some rain and low and behold, the WHOLE area is now covered with white-tipped weeds and it is the most beautiful sight ever. So phenomenal that my 11-yr old daughter asked me if I had seen it...and she never really looks out the window while I drive - either reading or doing something with her head down.
It is just beautiful
Of course, I apologize for not having a Kodak evidence to share, but trust me, this is one time you would probably agree that weeds are beautiful.

You are so right, Michelle, weeds are classed as such as they are invasive and really hard to keep under check in our gardens. But that does not necessarily mean they are ugly. Some weeds produce really pretty flowers. And if that's the case, why not let them propagate?!?!

Yes nature can provide some really spectacular things for us to see!!! Even thrash can be beautiful when it is covered with a light dusting of snow!!

I love the green of nature, too, Michelle. I live in the woods, and it is so exciting to see the baby leaves when they finally sprout out in the spring! I really love my green mountains. I spent some time out west, but did not like it because it is BROWN! Was so happy to get back home to my green ones with the Carolina blue sky overhead!
