A proof Google likes its Google

I wrote a long post and deleted it by accident. I can't write it again, but I want to share this screenshot.

Notice the "4 mins ago" next to my profile photo.

My new review is on Google page 1 after 20 minutes or so. The lesson is, don't ignore the major social media. Even if you don't particularly like Google +, make sure you share your content through it.

Cheers!

UPDATE: A day after my G+ isn't on page one. But that doesn't mean G+ isn't important. Have a look at this screenshot I borrowed from PjGermain's blog infographic:

To rank high you shouldn't ignore social media, but G+ comes first by a large margin.

Great Mudre! Cheers, William.

Thanks

That is so true. That is one of the reasons, I am a big user of G+. I have seen my posts be ranked on page 1 not from my site directly but from my G+ post. You figure Google the search engine owns and operates Google+, so they will give priority to those who are using G+. :)

Interesting quirk of Google Mudre. thank you.

1

You're welcome. It won't last for long because Google will push it down very quickly.

Make sure you use Incognito mode. Otherwise you get false results like this.

Thanks for the comment. That's exactly what I did. i checked a few times and it was there. It isn't any longer though.

Thanks

Thanks Mudre!

I have never seen a picture of me.

My guess is this is because you do not check incognito. I tried the same keywords from my side and do not see anything.

you will also find yourself like this if you haven't logged out of your Gmail account

I did check incognito and I wasn't logged into my Gmail account at the time. It appears Google kept it on page one for a few hours and pushed it down.
Cheers.

Hi Shane, I do not use gmail, so first time to see this effect.
