Social Media Management
We are all aware of the many useful social media outlets that we can use. For maximum effectiveness though we need to coordinate all aspects of Social Media and pull them together.
Hootsuite is a great one and there are others here to use for total effect. These five I recommend.
Going forward no platform is excellent by itself. It is the overall management that puts together a complete and powerful package for effective business social enhancement!

This is great thanks Mike. I have used the older applications like Hootsuite and Tweetdeck, but I hadn't heard of the newer ones like buffer or IFTTT. I will take a look at them. Thanks for sharing Mike. Also is Pictocgart a free info graphic tool?
Very powerful material on a critical topic, as I expect from you Michael.
Sadly, I'm hesitant to dig into it, as I've still a poor feel for what and how to post on most of these social media channels. I'm confident in writing in general, but the world of social media communication is still a bit alien to me.
I would sure love a "promotional social media communications for dummies" type tutorial that could give me the confidence to post on facebook, tweet, pin, etc. Whenever I go there, I get as far as seeing how to put it out, then stall out in fear that I'm violating all sort of unwritten rules of the channel.
Any suggestions for social media laggards like myself?

Steve, posting on social media is no different than posting on WA. The only difference is that you self promote and include a link. You do so once or twice per day. It is as simple as that.
When starting out on social media it is best the start with only one network and build that up first. Then when you feel comfortable to go further, start with another network. Never try to start with all of them at the same time.
I've tried Hootsuite and TweetDeck a few years ago, when it was free, but I use Social Jukebox now Mike, it works for me. Thanks for sharing :-)
I need to try this. I have noticed much larger traffic increases when I promote one of my sites on Facebook.
