What do you think about Instagram stories?

I've been wondering if Instagram stories would be a good tool to promote my business.
For those who don't know about Instagram stories, it's similar to Snapchat, it's a feature that enables you to share the amount of pictures and videos you want throughout the day, and they all appear in a slideshow format. There are text, filters and drawing tools that will help you make your story more creative. The pictures and videos disappear within a day after being posted.
Your IG followers can see your story in a bar at the top of your feed, and it's also available for people who don't follow you, they can see it if they check your profile and tap your profile picture (unless you have a private account). You can also check who has seen your story. Unlike public posts, there there no likes or public comments, but in case you want to comment something about it, you can tap and send a private IG message.
In my case I post an affirmation or quote every day but I'm thinking if I should also use it to announce my website posts. I think it would be interesting for some people but other people just follow me because they know me personally and wouldn't be interested in it. It's like my followers belong to different niches lol.
What do you think about it? Do you use Instagram stories for your business?

Good question .. firstly could be worth separating your business from personal. I use Instagram for business only .. actually 2 businesses. They are separate accounts because what I want to Post to each one is different. Instagram Stories .. I have not used it yet. Googled "instagram stories for marketing" and there are a lot of recent authority posts in the last two month about how to use this. Have not read any off them yet. Suggest that is the place to start. Cheers, William
Yes, I agree with you. I'm actually thinking of creating another Instagram account for my business but the true is that I have more than one purpose with my main one.

Have never gotten around to using that feature, but will do so. Can clearly see it has great potensial, but as always it will have to be good content
