Google + Hates Wealthy Affiliate
Why does Google + hate Wealthy Affiliate so much ?
I have just posted in several places and communities within Google + All linking back to my new post on Affiliate Marketing, Wealthy Affiliate and the Black Friday deal.
On each post I used the same text and link but different images. On two of 8 I used the Black Friday sale image and Google immediately removed those two but not the others ?
I resubmitted with a different image and all was well.
Does anyone know how or why the Google algorithm can pick up a wealthy Affiliate image even if it is not affiliate linked.
Very frustrating
With Grace and Gratitude

I don't understand something if Google + is shut down there should not be a problem then. Things are getting strange.

Karen,
Google+ is officially dead. Announced by Google (Oct 8,2018) partly due to a data breach that exposed 50,000 accounts. Big shrug from Google was only response and then shut-down.

Cheers
Good to know.... I only post there to help Google decide to index my posts anyway. I much prefer other social media platforms which I get better results from.
Glad it helped, from my own perspective, I'm not sure how much emphasis they are placing on content posted there currently, but the reason you say is the reason I use YouTube slightly more, because of the ranking factor with Videos
I also don't see the point in posting to a network that in Googles owne words is and has been underused.
I am about to write a WA Blog about Google Plus removing my post! But I saw yours...
Anyway I am also confused.
It actually worked for me for a little while. But recently--- they just remove and send me an email, telling me that I didn't adhere to the policy.
But I never tried changing the images though. What I tried to do is-- giving it some time to post to other communities, but, didn't work either.
Plus it didn't contain any affiliate links, just a link back to my post.
I've never been a big fan of Google+ because it's like the community there is very anti-affiliate marketing topics. Even though I'm not in that niche anymore, it's something I've noticed is really hard to market there.
Good luck and let everyone know how it goes once you figure things out!
I did that too, I might have to check if mine are still there, thank you for the tip to change the featured images
Mine were rejected via email almost immediately. Hopefully yours got through. I didn’t even mention WA in the text
Great ... who knows why mine failed to get through. I might try again tommorrow... lol... let’s see how consistent Google is or isn’t !
My WA and BF blog posts work fine with G+.
It's not that WA is hated. It's that if you're using an affiliate link (even a blog post from WA) on G+, it gets instantly removed. The same with any affiliate link.
Also, G+ doesn't like you posting the same link in multiple communities. It's classed as spammy. If you do manage to get away with that, each community post is also published on your time line which looks even worse to G+ and your followers.
Yes I get your last point which is why I change up the images. However there was no affiliate link in any post, just a link back to my blogpost. No WA link whatsoever just a WA image.
That's a strange one. I have no answers.
But with that said, I remember with my old G+ account, G+ blocked me completely and wasn't able to share any blog post whatsoever. There never was any explanation for it. I didn't even break the rules either lol.
Are you using the link in the text because this is a no-no. You must use the link bar supplied by Google+. On phone it is on the bottom but on desktop I think it is on top right, if memory serves
I never have any problems ... it seems they just didn’t like the wealthy affiliate image
