Be it Affiliate or Network Marketing I am really tired of the Question Is this not a scam? though its normal to be sceptical but iam frustrated when i cannot prove it or back it

Thank you all for all your responses. Apologies late responds on my side.

My challenge is before they even try for free or making a payment to join anything no matter how well others are doing in it, they want to know whether it is a legal way of earning income for with medical and dental once you join for free or pay you are involved and if it turns out to be a scan your career is finished it all goes in the drain and you will never work elsewhere in the world. you will have to change career all those years of building it gone in a split second.. I myself i actually took a huge risk. They do not want to risk their current income before they even make any in as affiliate or network marketing. Before WA i was with MLSP & MOBE. i love them dearly and i still promote some of their products as they give it to you for life once you buy it. i left cause i could not afford monthly payments and upsales to benefit fully. WA has it all that i was after. So the question how do you know its not a scam still follows me. The same with my network companies when i introduce Worldventures, FM Group World and Saladmaster. with the network companies i can sign post them to check with Direct Selling Companies list but what about Affiliate Companies. How do i prove its not a scam before they join without telling them to try for free etc.

you have to look for the signs they are out there you just have to look close all the best

Hi there,

people will always be skeptical, especially in the make money online niche. Too much garbage is out there and putting legitimate opportunities in the shade.

I've been asking this very question myself more than once. How am I supposed to prove what is a scam or not. I don't really have the answer to this either but I've noticed certain things you can do to improve trust.

1) Don't ever "sell" anything. If you put a lot of banners or text saying "Buy here" or "Buy now" and stuff your website full with affiliate links, it certainly raises a scam flag.

2) Be honest and be helpful. People ask questions or have a problem. Provide the solution in a helpful manner rather than a sales person approach.

3) Give, give and keep on giving free stuff and information. Engage with people. Show them you're real and answer questions/comments as professional and natural as possible, regardless how offensive a comment is.

4) Is WA a scam? Answer with a question. Can you try a scam for free? WA has a free membership to try things out and people like FREE stuff! :)

5) Never say bad things about another business or entrepreneur, UNLESS you can prove what you're saying (this can be out of your own experience). This can shoot back at you when you expect it the least. Always stay neutral with reviews and honestly review a product/business.

As for affiliate programs. I always do a thorough research and check out the merchants website for some clues if it's legit or a scam.

- What kind of product is offered?
- What are people saying about it? (Google it)
- Are there any complaints from other affiliates? (Again, google it)
- How is the affiliate program set up?
- Are there ways to contact support?

I personally stay away from Clickbank in the make money online niche. They don't seem to care much about how legitimate an offer/product is as recent research has shown again that scams are offered there.

And one last thing. Don't get too involved into proving if what you're doing is legit or not. There will always be critique and haters, who do nothing but troll the internet.

Best advice: Be you, be natural, be helpful and be honest. Just like you'd be to your family and friends. You know that your business is legit and people will know this by the way you correspondent with them through comments and your website.

Hope this helps. :)

Nicole

I can tell you that I signed up because it didn't ask anything but a name, email and password and at the landing page I saw the activity showing by members. Every second a post or chat, something. That this website has a real and active community is proof enough to me :)

With the power of the internet you can get a pretty good idea. Do searches on individual names and company name. Read carefully the reviews. Also, check out complaints with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) in your area. Hope this helps.

Type a name in Google for feedback. Always if something is wrong, you will see feedback from real people. Of course, you ned to search diligently, not to rush. You can write to customers back and somebody will answer, especially if they were hurt. It is the same with great companies.

Hi!

In my opinion and after some research, you can detect a good affiliate company or even an mlm company by firstly investigating whether or not the products are of value to others. The productline or the service are the most important things in any opportunity. In the end you have to have satisfied customers using/wanting the products and services, sometimes - and even better - over and over again.

Secondly of course the company should have a good reputation out there. Do they have a well working, good looking website? Can you find out something about the owners of the company? Nobody should hide their names, if everything is fine and legal with the company.

Third Id say try to trust your inner feelings about an opportunity. Would you be happy ONLY using and buying the products, or are the products some nice addition to your life you would not purchase if there was no income opportunity attached? In most of the cases I FEEL, if an opp is worth taking a closer look. Stay objective and dont fall into the trap of being too excited because others made you so.

Once, you find out that an opportunity is a real opportunity, be proud to represent the opp. If you are sure everything is fine with your company, the products, just DONT listen to others anymore. Most of the people out there just dont know anything about things even only slightly different from working 9-5. Connect with likeminded people also from other companies just for chatting. You will find out, that most of them face similar challenges... ;o)

Hope that helps a little ;o)
Cheers, Kay

Not sure what you are trying to sell, but the biggest thing I have noticed is that you must give your customers TONS of free stuff in order to show them what your services offer.

People like free stuff. I remember one time while visiting a Zoo there was a booth setup. They were offering free things so I got some. Never knew what it was till I got in the car. It was there I realized it was supplements to help senior citizens. I laughed since I was in my early 20's at the time and forgot it was senior citizens day. I did not care it was free!

The point is that we like free stuff. So when you offer high quality free stuff to your visitors that showcases what you have to offer they will soon realize what you have to offer is not a scam. There really is no risk in free stuff so people will take it.

I am very skeptical of "review" sites anymore. Unless it has come from a site that has earned my trust. They earned it by continually offering valuable free information which has helped me in some way.

I am no expert but this is what I have experienced.

I have the exact same opinion and question. In my reviews I never trash other programs, and prefer to talk about WA and the benefits within. It's just my way to see business. You don't need to say the other business is bad just to improve your own. If you have a good business it will show and endure. Anyway, I also would like to know if there's such an independent body to rate the online businesses and programs!

How can i drive traffic to an aready done for me personalised website by the networking company that i joined. Please take a look at the websites and advise me please. http://me

Hie If you go through the training there is plenty infomation shared here that will help you

I think the same principles apply in case of done for you websites. The only downside is that you may not have full control of the website other than a few tools in your back office.

I would suggest promoting this on Facebook. You can also consider creating a blog where you just focus on products that you have in both of these sites and provide (affiliate) links within your content.

So again finding your targeted niche is just as important and also using either the keyword tool or Jaaxy to find long keywords that will rank your posts/pages/blog so that you can generate some traffic.

So you need to probably skip the lessons about building a website and focus on training in WA about traffic and ways and methods to bring it to your offers.

Wish you the best of success.

Thanks a lot Tich!

I hope it works out for you.

Hi Gombirot and Everyone...!
Should i promote these 3 nicnes separately? I have decided to put aside those done for me websites that comes as one joins the network company and instead create my own website so that i do not miss out on how to build my own website and the benefits that comes with a website that you fully own. BUT am thinking should i build 3 separate websites and if i do how will i manage responses from these 3 websites and blogging separately and if on facebook thats 3 facebook pages. I am thinking i could think of a general domain name and a general website name for the 3 and then promote the 3 on the same website and also the same on Facebook group or page. I am really finding it hard to choose one. I love them all. They are kind of related. Everyone who travels (WV) eat and why not eat healthy on the go (SM) and whilst on the go why not use high quality daily products (FM) or at home whilst earning income on all 3.(networking businesses).whichever one choose to join they will need WA to boost their biz. Please help. Many thanks inadvance.

My honest opinion is that you need to choose one and focus on it. As you are learning, you are acquiring life long skills that will help you break into earn niche market and being able to be successful as you simply apply the techniques you learned.

Trying to have all 3 going you be a sort of distraction. However once you chose your favorite one you can always link to it in reference to a particular related product you will be promoting.

I would support your suggestion to start your own fresh website that you will build following the training available here so that you get it right the first time. Once you master this it is easy for you to just rinse and repeat and create multiple streams of income.

I hope this perspective can provide you with the general direction in which you can refocus your efforts.

Thanks so much for your help Tich! choosing one is a challenge but i guess i have to if i want to succeed.
