Could really use some ideas!
I am really hoping to get some ideas on how I can start getting more of an income on my blog. I have a great blog....at least I think. I just don't get any revenue from it. I put a lot of time into it. I am just really looking for some suggestions.
Please don't recomment Commission Junction as I won't use them. I am open to any suggestions. I thought about adding a live chat to help those plan their travel. I have been wracking my brain on what I can add to my posts to get purchases.
My website is http://www.beachtraveldestinations.com.
Any suggestions would be wonderful. I know this is a short post. I guess I really just don't have any ideas of what I can do. Thank you in advance!

I'd get rid of the first request for my email address and wait until the second one. When something comes that fast, it's like proposing on the first date - you are asking for something from me before I even remotely know you.
I'm not a fan of the moving social media links. I think they are distracting and irritating.
Your site is prime for multiple affiliate programs. Just because you've had an issue with CJ doesn't mean all networks are bad. Looking at your site, I see opportunities for things like LonelyPlanet.com, Viator.com, TripAdvisor.com and many more. Yeah, they all are on Awin.com, and I work for Awin, but I specialize in travel sites and those would all be good for you.
Yeah after going through your page more you should definitely incorporate more reviews of travel booking sites, it will definitely help your monitization.
I just read
this post about how to find niches. You might find it will help you with ideas. Good luck with finding a niche that sells. I hope this helps. Helpful Resources Carol
Vrbo has an affiliate program. So does hotels.com and expedia. So does AirBnB but AirBnB requires a million visitors a month. Can you add a "book now" or "see if there's a vacancy for your vacation" link?
I took an unprofessional look at your website. I like the travel topic. I'm not one that travels (hardly any at all). I didn't know if you could offer something for booking a trip? I also didn't know if you could add a place to ask people where they would like to see offers too? Like I said it's just a couple of ideas from a WA member.I don't know a lot about traveling! Maybe even give travel tips? IDK? Just my suggestions.
Good Luck
Susan
It's a terrific site, but I don't see any advertising or affiliate links there.
I also don't see my hometown listed - Stuart, FL!

I do have some advertising on the right side :) I'm in Florida and I don't know where Stuart is LOL
I just briefly browsed your site. You have good content there, but it's not targeting people with immediate intent to buy. For example, my family is considering a trip in 2020, and now, we're reading posts like yours. Once we're ready to buy the tickets, we'll probably start trying to decide which booking site to choose, but we won't be reading posts like yours in that phase of the buyer's cycle.
Your site seems more targeted at people who want information. Maybe a booking.com review might help for people with reservations about booking trips online? Maybe different travel booking site reviews? Maybe a comparison so travelers would know when to go to which booking site? The "visit California" type keywords are for people who may be doing research, but very rarely are going to attract the person whose about to buy now. Posts like "best hotel booking sites in 2019" or "booking.com vs. cheapoair: which is better in 2019?" or "cheapoair review" might be a good way to go.
is correct. The site looks beautiful, there is some excellent information, but it's not for people who are ready to book their trips and are looking for the best deals for lodging, airfare, etc.
Also, depending on the area, you might want to see if there are any companies who run day trips and pay affiliate commissions.
When I travel I'm always looking for interesting day excursions that I couldn't do without a tour guide and my own boat. That part of CA must have some whale watching tours, etc. Good luck!
Your site is beautiful! I'm bookmarking it so I can refer back when I plan another vacation :) I don't know how to help you gain traffic (very new), but wanted to say that and see what feed back you get! Good luck! (what is commission junction?) just curious.

Hi Leahrae
I agree with Jeannine, Awin is the way to go.
