Don't Trust 'I Feel Like It', You'll Never Succeed!
Hey there!
I just wanted to share some words of encouragement with you for those tasks that you just don't like to do or keep putting off.
Remember that we can't progress without doing the things we don't like to do or don't 'feel like doing'. It's too easy to say 'I don't feel like it' I'll do it tomorrow.
Then the next thing you know, two months have gone by and the task still isn't done. That might lead you to look at someone else and feel like they're better than you because they accomplished what you haven't.
But when we look deeper into why that is it's because the other person DID what they didn't feel like doing.
This is why I like to work with lists. There are many things that I don't feel like doing too so you're not alone. I'm not writing this post to judge anyone for feeling this way because we all feel it from time to time.
The reason I work with lists is because I just go through the tasks and get them done which, for me, eliminates the thought process of of how I feel. You might work differently so find something that works for you.
The bottom line is that at some points you're just not going to feel perky and full of energy. Those are the tests that decide whether you succeed or not.
So I hope that this has helped you find some encouragement to get all of your tasks done today whether you feel like it or not. Keep your goals in mind and in view. You'll get there! :)
Hope this helps!
Marlinda

As a procrastinator, I thank you for writing this post. You've given me a new way to look at the value of making a list.
Thanks
Having the right mindset also plays an important role in our decision to get things done and not put off for tomorrow.
I truly believe: "Do not put off what you can do today for tomorrow, because tomorrow holds its own anxieties."
It seems like that is what life is made up of. Things that have to be done whether we want to or not and things we like to do. It wasn't to long ago, like a 100 years or so, that it was just made up of things we had to do just to survive.
That is correct.
I find myself procrastinating in "academic" way.
Instead of writing and creating content by myself, I rather watch videos of how to write article. (..who am i fooling ?, right ? )
Or I read some tutorial on "how to" ...
Well, that has to be done as well, but the thing is that I must write that article by myself.
I can`t fall into the trap of "never-ending studying".
so, I am gonna start to do research of my niche, writing notes and put some words together.
have a great day:)
Thanks @Marlinda1

Indeed, most parts of life are the matters of what you need come first, and what you like, second, or say, essential comes first and optional, later. Yet, where is the capital of life to drive the unlimited list of tasks?
Good words with practical actions to follow.

Your post really motivated me. It is the things that we don't like to do that determine whether we will succeed or not. How would you judge a person's decision to not do something important not because he is too lazy to do it but because he is certain that he will get back to it at a certain point in time?
