It can take months to start getting high rankings and regular traffic, as Loes has said, just keep posting and building your site. Over time you'll attract regular readers and followers and Google will pick up on that and start rewarding you.

I can see that you have put in a lot of work already and you're getting somewhere.
If you really want this then you need to persevere.

Stay with it Marie, with anything good it takes time, I know we all wish it would be instant, but this is not how it works. Keep on going through all the training material, I know you mentioned that you finished the certificate course, there is all the Boot Camp lessons as well as the replay of the live Video lessons. Hang in there, keep your dream a live, it will happen.

What I can tell, that you really need to have patience. Couple weeks is nothing, because Google does not trust your website. It takes time to mature for website, you can think about at least four or six months when your website will be noticed by Google. I mean that you can be in higher rankings. Indexing is different from ranking. Previously I thought that my website is indexed and it is something. Unfortunately, you need to tell yourself: Stay with it and work on your website. Do not worry, you will be fine. All the best to you:)

You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it come true.

The achievement of your goal is assured the moment you commit yourself to it. If you have the desire, you have the power to obtain it.

You can have anything you want in life if you will sacrifice everything else for it. Your dreams can come true if you pursue them. where there is a will, there is a way!

Loes is right about some blogs are not correct.

Also it does take time, sometimes months. This is a real business not an overnight get rich quick.

If you continue to create quality content and follow the training your site will rank high. Choosing good keywords helps too.

You WILL get discouraged and frustrated but don't let that get to you.

Success is there for you Marie - you just need to stick to you guns and understand success takes time.

Hi Marie, the blogs you read from others are not always correct, the searches are done with the correct keyword phrase and that alone gives already a distorted picture, besides that, not everyone is seaching incognito, so when you read a blog from someone who claims he/she ranks on the 1st page of Google, it can be the case, that they did fill in the correct keywords and did not search incognito. Then Google shows you the results of your own cookies on your own computer.
I have written a blog about this My Website is on No 1 in Google, but is that really true? Most pages start ranking between the 3 and 6 month, Google has to trust you first, so many websites are just a few months in the air and are vanished before they get the age of 6 months. So you need to build up trust before Google is going to rank your website.

How do you build up trust? You post regularly, you share your website regularly on social media and you gain comments.

I want to find the words to bring you back from the brink of darkness. All I can think of is Ben and Jerry's ice cream. I launched my site in November 2014 and now I'm getting 300 visits a day and each month my daily traffic is steadily growing by 100 visits. Yes, it takes time and you have to be patient. I update my site daily, either through comments or by creating new content.

I understand completely. My sites are not ranked at all except one of them is on page 10. I am still plugging away - writing on one or more site every day. I am using Jaaxy to try to find the best keywords around the content that I am writing about. I am just going to write what I am going to write. I will do the best I can.
