A few days ago I entered my Google+ page correctly in my profile settings, but the G+ symbol not showing on my profile page. Has anyone else experienced this?
How weird - I can see it now as well - haha. Perfect! Must have asked the right question at the right time :). Thanks for taking the time to answer!
I can see your gplus symbom next to your name on all your posts and even this question if you are talking about the profile that goes to the menopause page =) so it seems to be working just fine
Why is my google page not visible on my profile?

My website is targeted for women (although info on there can help friends/family of women experiencing menopause)/ I have requested comments via site comments. However, it se
Not sure how you would set that up on the comments feature, do understand where your coming from I have a mixed bunch of comments on my website seems ok though
My website is targeted more for women than men but I have had far more men commenting than women! I have allowed their comments because they have all been really good. Like you, I need a balance or other women are going to think it's a little strange!
I don't think there is a way to block comments based on gender.
But if you request that men refrain from commenting while you collect responses from women, I think most guys will honor that request.
Haha! Of course, all comments appreciated! Just need more women commenting, then men can too - need a good balance :)

Hello helpful community
I was just about to sign-up to HQHair affiliate programme, when they asked me for £5. Below is the explaination on their website:
"
It is not all that common at all, you shouldn't have to pay to join affiliate programs but there definitely are various ones that do attempt things like this. I personally have never joined an affiliate program in all my years that required payment.
Thanks for taking the time to reply. I've decided not to join them and have gone with Amazon. The commission is comparable, so best to stick with tired and trusted Amazon! Have a good weekend. Cheers. Maggie
Hi there Maggie, you are not paying anything to get your article published here at Wealthy Affiliate not even in google. Your trainings here at wealthy affiliate are very much helpful. Well i have not heard much about HQHair affiliate programme just work with what you are comfortable working with, not such charges on publishing. For instance, will you be paying for every artical that you want to publish?
Thanks for your reply. I presumed I was just joining a straightforward affiliate programme. Must go back and see if I checked the wrong option when signing up. I was hoping to sell their products on my site, not have them publish my articles! Thanks again,. Maggie
Hi Maggie,
interesting. I've come across similar affiliate programs, but have not joined them due to this.
General rule is, affiliate programs are free to join. So in this case I'm not sure if it's legit or not.
Will be interesting to see others chiming in and how they deal with those kind of affiliate program sign ups. :)
All the best,
Nicole
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I remember Kyle saying affiliate programmes are always free. Not sure why they are requesting £5 for me to sell their products. Their commission is 7% commission, so might not be worth it. Amazon a better option and they might have more stock. Thanks for your help.Maggie
Absolutely. Not only is Amazon free to join but also covers tons of thousands of niches. Plus the more customers you refer, the higher the commission rate goes.
You start out with something like 5-6% and then it increases after a certain amount of referrals.
However, Amazon is strict and after signing up to their affiliate program, you should try to get at least 1 sale in the first 90 days (or 180?, not that sure :) ).
But you can re-apply at any time if that happens. :)
So, if Amazon covers your niche, stick with them.

Hi Maggie
I am not really sure what you are getting at. Are you talking about updating information on WA's Site rubix platform? Or on your website's wordpress dashboard?
If so, on what page is this setting in exactly?
Hi. Thanks for replying. When I view my website on a desktop, the words that appear next to the favicon need to be amended. Can't see where in WordPress to do this. Hope that is clearer.
Oh, do you mean to say your domain name hasn't been updated yet? For example, your website's URL still has the "dot siterubix" at the end of it?
Hi. Domain name fine. Hard to explain - I'll go back over training and get correct terminology. Thanks

Hello helpful community
I've decided on a niche - yeah ! Now I need to decide on my domain and would love some advice. Shall I go with an overarching domain such as
I believe you should aim for building a community. A community of people that will head your advice, stick to you and visit your website more frequently will then lead to a more lucrative outcome as well.
But remember, the main goal of creating content is to help people first. And the greater the help you are, the more it becomes lucrative!
Great niche by the way :) I would go with managemenapause

I see that perhaps it just took a bit to take hold. Maybe a Google glitch?
