Has Facebook Relaxed Their Advertising Rules Re MMO?
Here's something interesting I thought I would share and I noticed it last week. I have never been able to get any MMO ads approved on Facebook.
They have always been incredibly strict and whenever I use words like make money or earn extra income I my ads are not approved.
That has never stopped me trying though! So last week I put up an ad for Clixsense on my Facebook page and it was approved. It is working like a charm too....
Just thought I would share that with you, in case you have also been trying without success!

Maybe they have relaxed the standard because so many mmo's have turned to Pinterest. Whatever the reason, it's good to hear!
well done and congrats
perseverence pays off....if we have the patience to stay with it
cheers PB
They do seem to be adverse to words like these, make money online is still a bridge too far it is good to see that they may be relaxing some of their policies, Lynne.
Thanks for the heads up looks like it may just about be open season again.
Hey Lynne, haven't come across any of your posts lately. Nice to see you.
It's been my experience that there is often no rhyme or reason to their decision to approve or disapprove an ad. It seems to me that sometimes, the only explanation seems to be that someone was just in a bad mood. That's why it's imperative to try a few times. As you have shown... you just never know!
Hi Hal
I've been around, just quiet and watching! I just had to share this though since it may help someone else that has also struggled with it.
If I try and promote to my facebook page to get likes, they approve it. If I try to promote my Wealthy Affiliate page, by driving traffic to the site, they don't approve it.
I've been through the grind with them a few times as to why. They always tell me my web page promotes get rich fast money making opportunities they don't approve of.
I point out that the content I am promoting specifically says affiliate marketing takes time to build upon and requires time and effort... They never respond and close out my claim.
I argue with them based on the principle of it. I don't really care that much if I can advertise/promote my site on their site. It just seems like my WA site is black listed because it's about affiliate marketing.

Interesting. Have you tried recently? I've tried to promote Clixsense before and they wouldn't allow it. Maybe it is because they changed recently from being a PTC site to being only surveys, tasks and offers. I haven't tried promoting WA recently but maybe I should give it a go again :)
I shared Kyles blog on FB today
https;//my.wealthyaffiliate.com/kyle/blog/a-dozen-years-later-the-future-has-never-looked-so-good/a_aid/a1753160
But I do use Pretty link to do so
http;//your.siterubix.com/12yearsWealthyAffiliate
Until now, I have never had any problem sharing any link made by pretty link
I've tried it with a pretty link before though...although I have now thought of something else that may be the case. Previously I tried advertising using my page for my online marketing blog... this time I used my mommy blog. I have a long standing really good Facebook page with over 55 000 followers so maybe that is why?
Could be, I don't know what algorithm they use, I only know that my my.wealthyaffiliate links are bouncing, and the same link in a pretty link is allowed
I'll keep that in mind :) Thanks for the tip. Another thing to do when playing around.
They might disapprove a lot of ads that I do but I just keep on trying :)

I wondered what they might consider inappropriate, because the sources I read sort of skimmed over the subject, saying maybe yes you can advertise an affiliate, and maybe no, but try. Thanks for sharing that-- and I am glad to hear that you did well.
Yes you can advertise affiliate links on Facebook but it does depend on the company you are advertising for. Facebook does have certain rules when it comes to advertising any links, affiliate or not - they don't want to endorse scams and dodgy links. Of course the money making niche is crawling with rubbish so I can totally understand why they have been so strict with it.
