Follow Your Passion and Forget About Money - Sounds Crazy Right?

Good morning everyone, I have been wanting to share this with you all for a while now, but I have been so rushed off my feet!

Have you heard people saying forget about the money and follow your passion? It certainly sounds crazy.

So I have a website which is my great passion, I blog about recovery from addiction. I am so passionate about it because I spent 15 years of my life in active addiction wrecking my life and damaging everyone and everything around me.

So I wanted to blog just to share with people about my addiction, and hopefully I could even save someone's life right? Like how cool would that be?

So I started blogging about addiction last year and my main money making sites were keeping me so busy this year that I wrote a post in February and I just couldn't get to write again for about 6 months

Then I saw some earnings from Adsense from my addiction website and I was so surprised. It was just under $5 in one day.

Like what? Someone is on my website?

Imagine my happiness when I went to my Google Analytics and saw that not only are people visiting my addiction website but it has gone from strength to strength while I've been busy doing other things!

Google loves my website!

So I thought, geez maybe I should write something new quick right? Check out the spike in organic traffic when I wrote 2 new posts in the last month!

So it just goes to show that forgetting about making money and just being passionate certainly is the way to go!

So yes I know, this website is far from scooping up millions for me, but I am certainly going to be putting a little more effort into it moving forward!
