Transfer a dot com to WA sublime Namecheap support
A few days ago, I have transfered my thisiskidsart.com to WA. But I had a lot of problems doing that.
I used the training video of Mac01

(when everything goes smoothly.)
I took the steps and clicked on transfer.
Namecheap gave me a notice, my authorization code was sent to my email address, and as Thomas (Mac01) said: "It could take a few minutes". After 3 hours waiting, I contacted the helpdesk of Namecheap. Julie was answering the chat and acted very kind and helpful!
We figuered out that there was another step to take.
There was an alert on my dashboard published.
I had to verify the ownership of my website first.
We took care of that, I got an email from Namecheap in my Hotmail account, and by clicking the link in the email, the verification was approved.
Then we stumbled on another problem, my hotmail account would not accept any further email from Namecheap, not even in the spambox. What ever we did, NO MAIL - BLOCKED
I had to change my email address to continue.
Julie from Namecheap, helped me through this whole procedure via the live chat. Wonderful, how she helped me to get out of there!
My website is now on my domain page listed!

Thank you, Loes! I must be extraordinarily slow or something. Still having problems. Namecheap's chat advised I cannot transfer domain names till after 60 days!? Huh?
So, the domain name is still in Namecheap's possession! All the steps were followed but the pages which appeared on my screen looked nothing liked the ones in the tutorials......
You can do 2 things
Wait till the 60 days have gone by and transfer
Buy a new domain name at WA
Depends on how keen you are on keeping it
I know Namecheap had some upgrades in appearances
I have a "silly" question because I have saved good info like this using the gold star many times. How do you retrieve the information you have posted under the gold star?
Click on the star next (on the right) to the search bar, then you get a drop down menu. To view the whole drop down list, I always open it on my profile, because the list ends when the comments under a post end

Anyone knows how to transfer a domain from Bluehost to WA?
