Popularity of #hashtags
Hashtags are very important to use on Social Media, and for this monday #Mondaymotivation gets a 76.4! Followed by 51.1 #InternationalMensDay and 49.5 #WorldToiletDay
Yes you read that correctly. Today is Worlds Toilet Day.
There is a World Toilet Organization, believe it or not. And they have a Day too. On World Toilet Day they try to ask for more attention worldwide for countries where there are no toilets or where people live in poor sanitary conditions. Attempts are made to free up money for installing more toilets across the world. There are no less than 2.5 billion people who do not have a toilet, and 1.8 million people die every year from "diseases spread through feces!"

Great post, thank for post this. People don't realize the need for toilets and clean water. Even is some European countries need toilets. This is a major health problem. Thank for pointing this problem out
Sandy
This is so true! I was writing to a fellow member, and I was shocked at how long she had to wait to see a Doctor.
I count my blessing every day
Sandy
Outstanding I love this. I have always been curious about hashtags
You are awesome!
Nurse Becca
How funny. Yet, I suppose the challenges associated with not having working toilets is no funny matter at all.
Thanks for sharing the hash tag info also.
I just read a story of a chinees family who has to go to a public toilet because they do not have it in the houses. I feel spoiled rotten with 2 toilets
Sometimes we forget how fortunate we really are. The sad thing is that the Chinese family probably feels lucky to have a public toliet to visit.
Again, thank. you for sharing this post and your follow up comment. I needed the reminder.

Interesting post, Loes. Tell me, though, should I wish you a Happy Toilet Day!!?? Maybe Happy Monday Motivation Day instead??
I am very happy with my toilets, I have even 2🤔
So do I. Was surprised to find that in an apartment when I moved. Happy Toilet Day to us both! Guess we should be doubly happy, huh?
You're kidding me, some apartments don't have toilets in the USA, you say?
I don't know about that. Never heard of one that doesn't, but there are some parts of the country that might still have outhouses! What I meant was that I was surprised that my apartment has TWO bathrooms instead of just one.
How rich we are:)
And lucky, too! I remember having to go to the outhouse when it was cold during the winter when I was a little kid. BRRR! I hated that! My dad dug the sewer ditch and hooked us up to indoor plumbing and running water in the house when I was about 6 or so.
I always had indoor plumbing, but I remember most farmhouses didn't in my youth
Lucky you! My younger brother and sister always did, too. We lived in a small town in a 100 year old house. My dad installed the plumbing and the bathroom and remodeled the kitchen during the time we lived there. When their growing family of 4 kids outgrew that little house, we moved to a farmhouse that did have indoor plumbing. The bathroom had been added on sometime before we moved there.
I loved living in the country. Was so angry when Mom and Dad bought another house in town. I was about 12, and I told them I was NOT moving! Yeah, right!
Imagine, that so many people don't have this luxury yet, in a time we have smartphones and fly to mars, it's a matter of priorities.
So true! It's truly amazing how much we take for granted.
