When you follow up what people create for YouTube, you are bound to get nightmares.
The world has ceased to exist for many times now, last time was 23 September 2017
I started to watch the marketing worth of these videos, that gain easily 10K views in a few days. This video was uploaded on 20 September 2017 and got 41K within 4 days!
So I made a doomsday video myself. Just to test what bad news is worth. To test the YouTube market.

People do seem to love sensationalism along with doom and gloom!! You know, when I was in school they called that "yellow journalism" and it was greatly frowned upon; times have really changed.
I have always said, when there comes a good news paper, I am the first to buy it, and there came one, but within a few months it was bankrupt
An exciting opportunity, Loes; but will it lead to sales? It points up a painful reality for me - my plan is to build an authority site aimed primarily at people in R/D. Such folks tend to be addicted to the truth, and if I'm to gain their trust using these principles of viral marketing seems VERY counter productive.
I'm always aware of this conflict at some level, but I thank you for putting a spotlight on it.

Haha, good move Loes, I am sure you will get plenty of views, people love to be fooled.
I think a lot of youtube-videos with insane messages are made just to earn money, and not because the maker actually believe in what he is saying. And people fell for it over and over again.
