You use your keywords in your title, beginning of your content and maybe one or two times their after.
I guess I mean that once I have my keywords chosen, what do I do with them? Just make sure they are in my content? Is that all?
Yes, your keywords should appear in the title of your post, in your lead paragraph and then write naturally for the rest of the post.
If you mean meta keywords, this is obsolete, no need for it. many themes do not have such tabs any longer.

How to add keywords to website?

Hi Littlebird97
So what you want to do with your key words is the following:
1.
Make sure to include them in your title, meta title, and meta description. People searching Google are going to see your meta title and meta description first because the key words they typed will ideally show up there.
Plus, including keywords in your post title, meta title, and meta description (both are usually referred to as meta tags) will help rank better.
2.
Include your keywords a few times maybe in the first 100-250 words of your post. Make sure you're spacing them out well and aren't creating a keyword stuffed/saturated post. Google won't like that.
3.
After including your keywords in the parts mentioned above, you can occasionally include them in the body of your post but, again, don't try to stuff your content with keywords. Doesn't do any favors for your ranking.
At this stage to be honest, you don't really need to worry too much about keywords. Including them in your meta tags, title, and beginning paragraph(s) should be sufficient.
Good luck!
Good advice, thanks! Does my Page title have to have the keywords too? For example, I want my page subject (what shows up in the Navy bar/menu) to be Domains. The title of my post would be something like How to Buy a Domain. Then in myour content I would make sure I use that phrase at least once. Is this all correct?
