Don't we need to help one another?

I try to stay on top of my community involvement by answering and asking questions, offering feedback and commenting on websites whenever I have the time. We are all here to grow, right?
I must admit, however, that I recently had my eyes opened on the weekend.
I gave 11 feedbacks/comments to sites that were asking for input and said that they would reciprocate, but for the first time since I became a member in Nov 2014, I only received 2 comments in return.
Two. I gave 11. And most of the sites were ones that I had never commented on before.
I guess it doesn't matter who needed them, I just thought that tit for tat. Right?
