67 Minutes for Mandela
Hi Everyone
Today, 18th July, we celebrate Mandela Day in South Africa.
Making a Difference
It's not a Public Holiday in South Africa, but a day on which we dedicate sometime in our day to give 67 minutes of our time to Make a Difference.
Latest news on my side is that I was appointed the Public Officer for the Non Profit Organisation, Physical Literacy for Children (PLC) yesterday.
PLC was established to offer Physical Literacy to underprivileged and Special Needs children. PLC uses the curriculum and program of the Kids Gym and currently supports 150 children at The Kids Gym Cape Town.
So my 67 minutes today have been dedicated to spreading the word about PLC on Social Media. I'll be adding a PLC page to each of my websites as well in the next few days.
Contributing to a Cause
I've been meaning to add a way to contribute to a cause on my site for a while and wondering how to do it,
This is the perfect fit, as it's a cause I believe in, it's a great cause for Moms and Mompreneurs (therefore a good fit for my websites) and is part of my job at The Kids Gym as well.
It's all coming together.

Congrats on your appointment Lauren. We should also endeavor to celebrate every day another great native South African and multi talented, devoted christian American patriot Kim Clement.
His prophetic ministry spun over 4 decades and has brought many people, mostly the un-churched to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
The world still mourns Kim Clement's passing in 2016 but his legacy still carries on.

Lauren, thanks for the reply, Once you watch Kim Clement's YouTube videos or the videos on his ministry's website House of Destiny, CodeBreakers you will be both moved and blown away by the accuracy of his prophecies in predicting natural disasters, stock market, US elections, etc.
His ministry of praise and worship of Jesus is a fusion of God inspired original music, preaching and laser accuracy prophecies.
Most importantly Kim and his wife had many charities and adopted special need kids all the way from China.
I only got to find out about Kim Clement about 2 weeks ago and I am still blown away and mourning his death.
Kim Clement's passing is not only a great loss for his native South Africa, his adopted home in California, USA but to the entire world audience he brought to Jesus Christ. A gift from God.
Please take some time to watch his videos, learn, laugh, sing along, cry and be thankful for what your South African compatriot has brought to our world.

Wonderful Loes. I am not surprised at all that you already have incorporated articles on causes. You are amazing and you have such a big heart.
My articles are not directly attending the good cause, some are but most of them are " kick ass" articles.
Always good to honor the memory of some great people who are still there though, dead!

Well done on your appointment. I have been tossing around a few horse rescue sites to support but yet to make a firm decision. I’m figuring one will become obvious to me when it’s ready.

It is so uplifting to hear your story. If we all would do a little how different our world would look.
I have always tried to help and be kind to people I know who were less fortunate. Then when I went through my difficult years I was kept alive by my friends.
My websites address the problems, dangers, and solutions of/for our earth and its inhabitants. When I come across some happy news I often write a post about it.
