Follow or No-Follow that is the question
I came across this great infographic on how and when to use the no-follow tag.
I thought this might be of interest to some of you.
Other's might find that this is the first time you have heard of it.
Basically, using a follow tag gives the link you are pointing to an up vote. Sometimes, you might not want to do this. In fact, with Amazon links you should not do this.
So, here's the infographic that explains what no-follow is all about.
Have a look and feel free to comment.

Thanks a bunch Craig. This is quite interesting. I went there through your link and plan to return to get a greater understanding. Blessings!

Craig,
This is new to me.
I have not come across this strategy to ensure our reference links can be control and manage in such a manner. I thought once you vote up to the reference link it will stay with the person, didn't it can move to others or can spam.
Goog sharing,
John
I am still working on learning to apply such information, lol! & I really appreciate things like this that give a better understanding. Thank you! Christa:)
DEFINITELY! You don't want Google to crawl through those and accidentally group you by it...they usually don't, but it's a good rule of thumb....
Interesting, I actually use the nofollow for certain pages I no longer want Google to recognize along with the noindex...that is better than deleting the page, I remove it from the menu and then mark them nofollow and noindex, but if some visitors have them bookmarked to use, they are still available....at least that was my plan when I did this.
Interesting. New to me. Thank you, LabMaster.
Now, the following "follow" is familiar to me:
