You Are Fortunate, You Get to Be Engaged 24/7 in Your Business.
Hey Everybody,
Today, I want to discuss the idea of always being ENGAGED in your business. This is a luxury you have as an online business owner. Whether you're just getting started and the idea seems foreign at this point, or you're full-time and already enjoy the flexibility of engaging in your business whenever and wherever you want, being able to engage your business at any point in the day can be an incredible advantage.
I just got back from a short vacation in Seattle for the weekend with my wife. While traveling, I'm always reminded of how I'm still engaged in my business.
I'm active within Wealthy Affiliate, and if any of you were online at WA over the weekend, you would have noticed that I was in chat, actively engaging and helping people. I'm also working with our team on bigger projects behind the scenes. This flexibility is one of the luxuries of running an online business—you can travel and still advance and grow your business.
For those entering the online world, remember that now you have the ability to stay engaged throughout the day.
You can take breaks, but you're able to pull some of the biggest ideas from the most random sources, whether you're traveling, at the grocery store, or at a coffee shop...or on vacation. As an online business owner, you can engage in your business at any moment, even in those micro-moments—those 15-minute segments throughout the day where you can tackle projects and be productive.
I want to remind YOU of the luxury we have working in the online world. You are able to be engaged with your business at any point, no matter where we are, even while travelling throughout the world. You can grow our business and continue to be productive.

That is definitely the thing I love the most about online business, being able to work wherever I go. I can move location and the business will move with me with absolutely no problems. Now I just need to figure out how to get my kid schooled and socialised while being a digital nomad!

Yeah, for sure. There is something so captivating about being able to build a business from anywhere in the world, and to be productive (sometimes more) from new locations.
I love the creativity that is spurred from simply being in a new environment and I am very much transient in where/when I work on a weekly basis (whether it is just changing the room in my house, or heading to a local coffee shop).

It is indeed a blessing to be able to work from anywhere and at any time with an online business.
From the tender age between 6 and 7, I knew I wanted to be a writer. Later, being a business owner became just as important. Both would allow me to have the freedom to do something I enjoy and work hard at.
I look forward to doing that fulltime and really reaping the benefits. It would be a dream come true. For now, I'll keep learning and growing!

That is so awesome. Writing and being active within an online business go hand and hand. Now we have tools to help us write faster, and smarter which has made things fun. I still type just as much as I used to, I simply can accomplish more than ever now. It's an exciting time to be a writer.

It's nice to remember the blessings of being able to run our businesses from anywhere and anytime. While this goal is a dream for many, it is only a dream for most. It takes commitment and drive to push yourself daily to make measurable progress!
I started this journey in 2014 as a full time RVer (I live in an RV 24/7, not in a traditional dwelling). I chose WA to learn how to create and market a website to grow a new organization in the RV niche.
Six years later, and even during Covid, it really took off! My website, created from the training here at WA, created awareness for a new industry. It gained traction first in Florida (using targeted keywords) and then spread nationally as I traveled the country in my RV, growing my new business.
I can remember Pam driving our RV home while I was working online in 2017. That's the beauty of having your own business, and certainly in the affiliate marketing space.
I have been sitting on the beach with the RV nearby (the mobile bar - LOL), enjoying the view and writing content for my website. Someone came by and asked about the sunshade we were using, so I sent them to my website if they wanted to know more about it and, by using my Amazon link, make a purchase.
Sweet, making money while having a beach day. America she great country, LOL!
WA is a vehicle. It can take you where you want to go, but you have to turn the key to get started. It can take you wherever you want, but you must step on the gas.
The best part of all of this is that, like Kyle, if you love what you do, it is not work at all but a part of your life.
And that's the best way to work and live!

That is so awesome Howard, and I really do love your story. Making money a beach day is the reality of what the internet business world offers us all, and the fact that you have taken your "niche" which you are living within, and run with that is also a really awesome approach (and one that we recommend).
Love the big rig you have as well, that looks very fancy and isn't what most envision when they think "RV" lol. More like a fancy hotel on wheels!

My wife has always wanted one, maybe at a later point in our lives. I am more of a hotel guy myself when I travel, but I really do like what you are doing and the idea of it! So cool!
'Engagement' seems to be the word of the moment, Kyle. Yes, engaging others in your ideas and style of writing, etc., is a wonderful goal. In other words, it means standing in the shoes of the members of your audience. This kind of empathy can only make the world a much better place! I'm so relieved that hard selling is long gone, and we can genuinely reach out to like-minded people and share. The same goes for AM, which is getting less and less resistance.
I've recently been delighted with the niche market research ChatGPT has done for me, which has allowed me to focus on segments more accurately. Markets are changing rapidly, too, so it's essential to keep abreast of those changes.
As you know, I live in Japan, where I couldn't operate in business because foreigners are not really accepted unless they're big corporations. Being online means I can market to the world, and I love that international atmosphere. So, I'm essentially a full-time digital nomad, and that's one of my niche audiences.
I was away earlier in the week travelling in Japan, and I unexpectedly got stuck in heavy crawling traffic for three hours because of the summer exodus here for OBon. But even using just my iPad, I could continue networking and posting!
And new ideas very often come when I'm walking in the nearby forests or luxuriating in the onsen (spa). I would say that my business activities are fully integrated! They're just part of me now – my life's pathway. And collaborative projects suddenly appear. I'm now working with the Director of a Diversity + Inclusion organisation at New York University to train people to quit their 9-5 Grind and step into the limelight of Internet Business to secure their future financially. My multi-millionaire mentor gives me financial mastery training for my package. It's so wonderful to connect unlikely groups together and help to tear down the wall of traditional work, which would probably only be possible with the Internet.
So, it's simple. If we are fully engaged in our business, then others will be fully engaged with us! I hope more and more people will come to realise this to make the Internet our safe haven and future security!

When we are engaged, it becomes obvious as we naturally evoke a certainly level of care for our business, and it shines through in the way we do just about everything....from designing our websites, to creating our content, to communicating with others, to just showing up and being present.
Sounds like you are immersed just like I was saying...as you travel, you are still engaged, still working, and still accumulating new ideas and "a ha" moments. That is what it is all about. ;)
