Beer with Kyle Friday: Big Week Ahead – New UX & New Website

This week’s episode is all about momentum, and we have a lot of it!

We're just days away from one of the biggest releases of the year. The new UX is on track for June 11th, and I want to give you a sneak peek at what is coming, along with a look at the brand-new Wealthy Affiliate public-facing website that’s also rolling out next week.

But first… beer.

This Week's Beer: Czech Dark Lager

This week, I cracked open a TMavý Pivo 13° Czech Dark Lager from Slow Hand Beer Company. I am usually not the biggest fan of dark beers, but this one surprised me. It reminds me a bit of Phillips Blue Buck, brewed right here in Victoria, BC—smooth, dark, but still drinkable.

New UX Launching June 11th

We are just 5 days away from rolling out the new UX to the entire Wealthy Affiliate community.

This is not just a design update—it is a full transformation of your day-to-day working environment, built to streamline your workflow, highlight opportunity, and create the space for innovation and efficiency.

Here’s a snapshot of what is included:

• Completely redesigned interface
• Communities platform (niche-specific environments to learn and grow)
• All-new Core Training with simplified navigation
• Leaderboards + Points Platform (earn revenue through engagement and content)
• Fast, polished, and built with room to evolve

This UX unlocks the next chapter at Wealthy Affiliate, and it’s the foundation for much more innovation to come.

New Wealthy Affiliate Website

Alongside the internal update, we are also launching a brand-new WealthyAffiliate.com website.

While we recently went through an iteration, this new version is much more aligned with our direction and the broader opportunity we're helping people tap into.

Here’s what’s changed:

• Cleaner, modern design using the latest technology
• Live editing & testing for faster marketing updates
• Dark mode + light mode built-in
• More focused messaging around AI + online business opportunity
• Engaging UI elements (like movement on calls-to-action to increase engagement)

We learned that using niche-specific backdrops and personalization didn’t impact conversions in a meaningful way. What people really want is clarity and vision, and that is what this new design delivers.

AI is the New Ground Floor

The online business world has entered a new era. We call it the AI Opportunity Era.

Tools and capabilities that used to require teams of 10–100 people can now be run by a single creator or small team. Whether it's:

• Building websites
• Creating content
• Designing media
• Writing code
• Running entire businesses…

You can now do all of this as a solo entrepreneur with the right tech and the right training.

This is why we are reframing our messaging and our offer:

“The Online Business Revolution is Here.”

We are giving new visitors a 5-part AI launch video series, along with $10 in AI credits to start (subject to change or even increase). And yes....this will all go live next week too!

Your Feedback = Our Roadmap

None of this would be possible without the feedback from the community.

The tools blog post I ran a few weeks ago brought in a lot of great ideas. Many of those are making their way into our roadmap for Q3 and Q4.

We are leaning into faster iterations, more integrations, and smarter tools. That includes evolving the Hubs (now called “My Businesses”) and enhancing site support, which continues to improve behind the scenes.
