In this task, we’re going to learn how to share your Wealthy Affiliate (WA) affiliate link with people outside of the platform and community. By doing this, you can earn commissions, including up to $1,200 in recurring commissions, just by sharing your link.

The great news is that you’re automatically approved for our affiliate program, even as a starter member here at Wealthy Affiliate.

Key Takeaways:

  1. Automatic Approval: All members, including starter members, are automatically approved for the WA affiliate program.
  2. High Commission Potential: You can earn 40% to 50% commissions, with potential earnings ranging from $20 to $1,200 in recurring commissions.
  3. Affiliate Link Access: Easily find and share your unique affiliate link from your Wealthy Affiliate hub.
  4. Versatile Sharing Options: You can share your link through social media, emails, text messages, forums, or directly with friends and family.
  5. Upgrade Benefits: Upgrading to a premium membership doubles your commission rate and gives you a chance to attend the Las Vegas Super Affiliate Conference.

Step-by-Step Guide to Sharing Your Affiliate Link

  1. Accessing Your Hub:
    • First, go to your hub by clicking on "Hubs" at the top of the page. This will take you to a page where you can see all your hubs. Whether you’re a starter or premium member, the process is the same.
  2. Finding Your Affiliate Link:
    • Scroll down to the "Revenue Opportunities" section. You’ll see "Wealthy Affiliate" listed at the top.
    • Click on "View My Affiliate Links." This will reveal your unique affiliate link. This link is unique to you and can be shared anywhere—on social media, forums, emails, text messages, or directly with friends and family.
  3. Copying Your Link:
    • You can either highlight the link and use Ctrl+C to copy it, or simply click "Copy Link" to save it to your clipboard.
  4. Sharing Your Link:
    • Once copied, you can paste your link wherever you choose to share it. For example, if you paste it into your browser and click on it, it will take you to the Wealthy Affiliate homepage. If someone joins and later upgrades after clicking your link, you’ll earn commissions.

Additional Tips

  • Commission Structure: As a starter member, you earn half of the commission that premium level members earn. Upgrading to a premium membership will instantly double (2x) your commissions.
  • Las Vegas Super Affiliate Conference: Premium members can qualify for this annual event by making 150 sales in a calendar year. It’s a full-expense-paid trip where you can connect with top affiliates and get insights on Wealthy Affiliate’s future direction. Learn more here.
  • Affiliate Dashboard: You can access your affiliate stats, program details, and more by clicking the dollar sign icon at the top of the page. Here, you can also learn more about the Las Vegas conference. Access Your Stats Here.

Final Thoughts

I encourage you to share your affiliate link on at least a few platforms today. Simply copy your link and share it—if someone joins and upgrades through your link, you’ll start earning commissions. If you have any questions or need further assistance, feel free to drop a comment.

I look forward to seeing your first earnings from promoting Wealthy Affiliate!

Very interesting, just a question: with applying the link to my social medias, would I make a presentation with it? Explain something? Or just put the link there for people to find out when they click and open it? Since I'm in the beginning I haven't got any income yet and they might want to know if it works etc..

Possibly best to add a bit of context, but horses for courses.

You can share it with some support content, explaining that it is going to help you build a business online doing something that you love. That seems to appeal to everyone, and encourage people to ask you questions if they have any. Once people reach out, they will convert at a much higher rate.

If you ever need a hand with any of this, just ask. ;)

Training done!
Within your hubs, you can find your affiliate link in the Revenue Opportunities section or by clicking the dollar sign icon on the top right and clicking on Copy to copy your affiliate link. Then you can share it on social media, your website, and/ or on other writing platforms with a high domain authority.

Most definitely, you can share that anywhere/everywhere, and you can do so with frequency. This can lead to referrals, and ongoing recurring revenue.

Our top affiliates are earning 6-figures passively, and that is only going up as we work to improve our service, improve retention (as a result), and improve conversions on the front end by offering a great amount of value to even Starter members (as you are getting to experience). ;)

Thanks, Kyle, for this reminder. I will never forget WA, but I'm afraid I haven't had much luck with commissions so far. There are just so many things to promote.

Do you have any tips to change this? I've tried comparison articles and statistical analyses to boost WA, but I'm mainly working on LinkedIn, where members don't easily buy things I find. So, any tips for promotion angles would be most welcome.

I've done a full-scale review and several articles about different aspects of WA development, etc., but perhaps my websites are just not mature enough yet for that to work as a channel.

I'd love to get some commissions. One of the problems I find is that if I mention this perfect platform I know to people, they badger me for the name, of course, and then go ahead and find WA themselves! Darn! So, I think I have to get people more curious!

Maybe I'll try making some videos!

Love your help!!

It sounds like you are offering a great message to your audience, but it may not be completely in line with what your audience is looking for.

One thing I know is that most people want to make more money than they currently are, the want the flexibility that comes with an internet business, and they want to work within an industry that they love. Speak to those three items and explain how WA can make this happen, and I think you are going to convert at a much higher level.

As for getting people doing their own research and joining without you, tell them that you can work with them directly and you will offer your personal mentorship/help if they join through you, and also that you will send them a few really good "jumpstart" resources to get them rolling (could be any video short, any blog posts, etc within WA).

I think that will lead to them signing up through you at a higher rate. Do know that we offer lifetime cookies though, so unless they sign-up through another affiliate, you will get full credit for the referral if they come directly to WA at a later time.

Here to help you with your campaigns if you ever need a hand with anything at all. ;)

This is great advice Kyle! Thank you. I will revisit my approach and be a little more pushy/transparent! Good news soon I hope!

Hey Linden. I totally get where you're coming from with people badgering you for the name of the platform and then bypassing your link! Here's a trick you might want to try: Tell them the first rule of the course is that you can't just give them the name. Explain that they need to be invited by you and follow your link because it's "invite-only." That way, you maintain control, and it adds a layer of exclusivity—making people feel like they're getting access to something special that not everyone can have.

You can even make a production out of it. Take them aside, lower your voice, and whisper the information like it’s a top secret. The scarcity and exclusivity can really hook them in. Remember, you're doing them the favor by letting them in on this valuable opportunity. They should be grateful!

And remember: recommending WA is like making love to a beautiful woman. You don’t just rush in and spill all the details. No, you tease them, you build the excitement, and then, at the perfect moment, you let them in on the secret... leaving them wanting more!

OOoh Dr Dave, this is really good advice. Yes, I need to try something like this to keep the mystery spinning until they're hooked. "invite only" - good idea.
I love your analogy about recommending WA! Gosh, I didn't realise you were such a passionate beast! LOL 🎇
OK. Well, I'd better get my handsome men images out then and practice!!
But yes, I get you. Get potential clients to nibble at the bait and, and then pull them in hook, line, and sinker.

Yes, I'm a bit too transparent I think! I'll work on it.
Great advice. Thanks Dave. 🌺

Glad you appreciate the humor 😄 I was inspired by a character called Swiss Toni.

He sounds worth getting to know. Can you introduce me? 🙏🏼🧀

That's a great video, Kyle, and I enjoyed watching it.

Just a quick question: Do you think it makes sense for me to promote Wealthy Affiliate, at least to a certain degree, on my website, which is dedicated to reviewing luxury wristwatches?

My readers might become interested, of course, in how to make money online, but they might of course ask what this has to do with my reviews of expensive premium Swiss luxury wristwatches.

Anyway, I'm definitely very interested in promoting Wealthy Affiliate on my website, which is something I will do "on the side," so to speak, next to my main focus, which is of course luxury timepieces.

I'm just curious, Kyle, to know whether you think it makes sense for my brand identity (reviewing and recommending Swiss luxury wristwatches) to promote Wealthy Affiliate (which I gladly do) on my website: www.swissdiverswatches.com.

Thank you,
Alexander

Absolutely, Alexander, I would.

However, I hear what you're saying, and I'd share it where relevant: keeping your visitors focused on what's essential, meaningful, and resonates.

== Other options include:

You can promote WA on your About Me post. You may include a paragraph in the middle of the page or towards the end, adding a few features about the benefits of joining the WA platform. You can hyperlink your unique affiliate link there, which you can fetch via the $ sign at the top menu.

If you share it on social media platforms, I would shorten it with pretty links before sharing, as some platforms don't like affiliate links shared raw as is.

However, it would be more feasible to write a post (again, where relevant), include your affiliate links, and share your post on social media platforms.

Alternatively, you could use plugins such as Grow Social or Social Rocket.

Plugins and add new, input keywords, install, and activate.

Abie

Like Abie said, you absolutely could. The reason is you can tell people "how to make money in the luxury watch industry", and you could tell them your story, tell them what you are doing and benefiting from WA, and tell them how they can get started.

So this can absolutely be a direction, I wouldn't dedicate too much content to it though but this could be one of the pillar pages on your website and could lead to a substantial amount of referrals over time. You could do this within every niche. :)

Hello Community,
I have been pondering something I must turn to the community for.
I know we write articles for our website, and we even write reviews.
My current confusion revolves around the use of 'links' in our content.
Do I write a review and put the affiliate links for the products I have in my post, and then on the website post where the products we are implementing are, do we put a link back to the review so they can purchase them there if they would like?
Sorry, I get muddle-headed occasionally. I would appreciate any advice or help you might be able to offer.
I've noticed a significant drop in my Google ranking recently, and I suspect it might be related to my use of links??

Janice

you can leave Links in the article if it relevant but don't over do it or you can use a Link to send them to your review it just depends on the content. You maybe using too many links for google to slow down your traffic or you may need more engaging relevant content that helps people do a task instead of just looking like you are selling them something Just try to be helpful to your audience. hopes this helps

Thank you so much, Trecia, for the helpful information.

Thank you, Trecia. So appreciate your kindness.

Trecia,
Sorry. I guess where I'm confused is whether each individual link that I send over to Reviews will still be a link in my content (just to send them over to the review). Maybe that is because the ranking is more sensitive to the number of links in the content than what there are in Reviews?
I have a pet care website, so you can imagine how many links there could be for that, but I've tried to keep the links to a minimum.
I checked today and my website is back at #1, yay, but I need to go and check each individual post to see where they stand in the ranking. Then I can get an idea of which article might have too many links.

Thanks,
Janice

The key is to incorporate your affiliate links naturally. Just don't overuse them, but don't be afraid to use them at the same time. If you want, you can share your WA affiliate link on your website (create a relevant page to promote it), with friends family, on your social networks, etc.

If someone clicks on that link and upgrades, then you are going to earn full commissions. :)

Much appreciated!

No problem! :)
