i have a ranking of 22239 at the top right hand corner of the main page but 4854 at the author premium section. any difference?
Hi Kim,
I see You ranked as 4854 - the 22239 should go away by the end of the day & most times even by 10am EST time which I believe is the usual time for new rankings to come out here on Wealthy Affiliate.
Nice job by the way for jumping 17,385 positions over night, I only moved up 1 position since yesterday.
Talk with You soon my Friend,
Tony
Great question! A lot of people are curious about the rank. :) Mine are showing the same now.
The ranks will level out throughout the day. Right now my rank is 126 on my profile but 123 when I check the page that shows everyone's rank. the smaller number is appearing for me on your picture. :)

I was trying to submit my first blog but was requested to submit in some tags? where can i find the tags? Thanks
Tags are meaningful comments that you write about your blog. It is good to add some key words that you can get from Jaaxxy or you key word tool on your left side bar.
codevonish has a good explanation.
Marty
Musicns is correct, for example assuming your blog is about Affilliate marketing, type in- earning money on line- in the space next to- Add Tag- you must add at least 2 tags, as you type you might get help as suggestions may appear. The internet has a vocabulary of its own, start building that vocabulary, ant time you see a WORD you do not understand, ask a question from the WA Community or GOOGLE IT, Good luck ,build that vocabulary, you are in school again.
will those tags be useful to us? during google ranking and/or searching of keywords? Thanks
Kim
If I am not wrong, you are asking about publishing blog at WA. If so, simply put your blog keywords in box provided and click add tag. And then you can publish your blog at WA.
You put in tags that are related to your blog. For example if you wrote a blog about Wealthy Affiliate you might use tags such as:
Affiliate marketing
earning money online
etc.....
Someone please correct me if I'm off base here. This is my understanding.
You just create the tag by choosing a couple or a few words that relate to your post.
Say I wrote a blog post on Toyota Cars. I could use some tags like "long lasting vehicle" or "Japanese Cars".

I have uploaded 4 of my websites to Manager Section at Build My Websites Here, 1) www.joyfulsport.com 2)
JohnCWS had really answered and cleared my four over months doubts on this issue. Greatly appreciated and thanks a lot.

Seriously it is getting more confused. If my website is not ranked in google, how can people find my website. You mean without ranking in google but by having our own traffic, it is allowed and not violation to google rules and regulations. I believe then we must had a hard time with finding traffic. Thanks
Kim
Thanks for your valueable advise. I get to understand more of internet marketing. Thanks..
Kim
That is correct. You aren't violating Google's ToS just because you don't have content. You just have to drive traffic yourself. and good luck with that ^_^
nobody had answered my question yet. Should i have a new landing or content page for that?
I have engaged others to build for me the websites. Seriously i don't understand the amazon cookie "bug". Like what i don't understand for e-commerce website, we are promoting the products for sale, so why all the contents? Is it required? I was thinking if i should design one landing page with contents? Any quick tips on free or paid good traffic and advertisement to recommend? Thanks . Kim
HI, I would like to suggest that you actually go through and follow the training. If you don't understand why you need content I doubt you have got to grips with how affiliate marketing works. The fact that you have a website and are promoting products on it's own won't mean that your website will be indexed, found or indeed make you any sales.
Sorry to be so blunt but you really need to go through the training if you are looking at having a LONG TERM business.

The sites are fine the way they are. You just need to advertise them. As I mentioned below. You don't need to worry about landing pages. And just as I assumed.. You didn't make those. So how much did you pay for them to be made? I'm... curious..
I paid $50 per website. But will my website be ranked in google if there is no content? Thanks.. Kim
No, those sites, the way they are right now won't get ranked. There isn't any content with keywords. That's why I said you have to have the burden of advertising them yourself to drive traffic to them.
Did you have these sites built for you? Or did you build them yourself?
As they look right now, they look great. You aren't breaking any rules.
However, as far as marketing goes. You will have the burden of advertising your sites. I suggest social media and paid ad's. You won't be able to get any traffic via organic search results because these pages have no content, and I'm assuming never will. Also, there isn't any place for comments to be added.
The only way you will gain exposure to these sites depends on how big of a social following you have, and how much advertising you are willing to do.
These aren't "review sites" - You are just taking a shit ton of amazon products and putting them on your own site. So instead of going to amazon and searching for these products, your users will come to your site based on your niche and view the selected products for that category.
I've had success with these kind of sites in the past, and they still do well. But as I mentioned. It all depends on the work you put into getting the traffic yourself.
I also see you are taking full advantage of the amazon cookie "bug" per say. Be careful with that. Whether you are doing it intentionally, or unintentionally. Just use caution. I've heard of people losing their amazon affiliate account over it before. Even though it's on Amazon's side, they don't care.
Hey Kim you will not get responses by putting your website(s) in a blog like this. You need to share them in one of the sharing threads. Here is a link to one. Share Your Beautiful Content. You can also use the Site Comments tool under Site Rubix menu.
