Why Are You Interested in Online Business?
Hey Guys, it's Kevon here.
I'm curious to know one thing...
Why are you interested in online business?
As a member here on Wealthy Affiliate I've come accross lots of people. Many succeed and many also fail. What I've found interesting is that people's WHY is what propells them to keep going against all odds.
I've found everyone has different reasons for starting an online business and just wanted to know yours.
For me personally, it's to gain more financial freedom and more control over my life - my time and my creativity.
I want to be, do and have whatever I want without feeling dependent on someone else for my happiness.
I don't like being powerless and penniless.
I don't like being told what I can and cannot do.
I don't like someone else having control over my life and my income.
I'd rather work for myself knowing that I can generate limitless income (even if I haven't reached my goal as yet). but just knowing that it could happen pushes me forward.
So the amazing thing is...
Online business has become my solution for a more abundant, joyful and stress-free life.
And you know what? Your reasons might be the same or totally different from mine. That's why I'm interested to know.

Hey Kevon, my whys are pretty much the same as yours. Financial independence, more control over your own life, not feeling dependent on someone else, not having to answer to other, to be in control, to be able to spend time as you desire, and to have less stress in your life and be doing something for yourself that you enjoy doing...

I totally identify and agree with what you are saying. That seems to be a chief reason for many people.
Most jobs don't really give the real freedom that your own business could give.

My Why? Being retired and trying to live on a small state pension is not a very good idea. If you want to enjoy the remainder of your life you need to be able to earn a reasonable income. Hence my why. I would like to live without financial constraint.

Most people forget to prepare for retirement. But thank goodness that it is never too late.
WA is empowering a lot of retired people with the skills and tools to earn real income online.

My "why" is similar to yours. To be financially independent and not have to rely on retirement and the government for my well being. I want to establish my life style and not have it determined by others. I think it was Kyle that wrote a good blog on the importance of "why".

My reason for being interesting in an online business is of course for the money!

Thanks for sharing your why. Wanting money is great. But I'm . sure the money is only part of your why. You must want the money for something else, right? And not just for having money sake. Maybe it's to be abble to buy the things that a job can't allow you to have. Or maybe it's to get that dream house or the flashy car. But whatever the deeper reason, just keep focused on your why and you will succeed in the end.

My why is, I too am tried of working for someone else making money for them while I'm struggling to make ends meet. Financial Freedom. To provide a better life for my family and myself. To have time to spend with family and take that vactaion we we're supposed to take years ago that never happened. That is my why.
