There is a minor difference between a post and a page. For instance, a post is the content that will appear on your front page, whereas a page is simply a page, LOL, where someone can get access to in your menu. Just continue following Kyle's lessons. He explains how to create posts in "Get started here", course 2, lesson 6. Good luck Kelly :)

You need to create a Post and it will show on your front page automatically.
Go to Post > Add New
Create a Title - type a few lines into the editor, even if it is just a test post for now. Publish it. It will show up as the front page display on your site.
The reason you can't see it now is because from what I see, you haven't created any posts yet, and the default Home Page in WordPress is the blogroll of your latest posts.
Alternatively, you could set one of your Pages as a Static home page, by going to Settings > Readings and then select a page from the drop down list to be your static home page.
I'd go with adding posts from now on, instead of pages, as posts give your site dynamic content, which search engines love.

Please how do i navigate through customizing my website. Can I change my theme? ( I don't think the theme I chose while building originally works for me) I tried too and it say
Yes, you can change your theme anytime you want. To do this, go to your WP dashboard - Appearance - Themes Add New. Choose any of the available themes - install and activate it. WordPress Dashboard Tutorial - Themes Here's how you can customize your menu. Page Menus Here's how you can customize your widgets. WordPress Dashboard Tutorial - Widgets Like the others have said, just follow along the courses and you'll sort your problems out.

Yeah, you can easily change the theme if you're not happy with the one you have. I'm not sure what stage you're at with the training, but just keep following Kyle's video lessons and you will reach the point where he will show you how to customize menus and widgets.
You will get it sorted in no time :)

Hey Kelly, how are you? :) if you want to change your theme here's training that Kyle gives on how to do it. You are able to change your theme as many times as you'd like. I've changed my theme so many times. How to Change Your Website Theme in Wordpress Kyle will go through the widgets, menus and all that fun stuff while you're going through the training.
I don't know if you hit the publish button or not, If you didn't you will not see your content live when you check your site. So if you haven't done it yet, it's show time. :)
The main focus you want right now is to get content on your site. This is because you're building trust with Google. You gotta stroke Google's ego so you can get all up in there. Lol
Thanks Evelyn, I guess i will just follow up with Kyle's training instead of the fancy stuff now.. I published my website without even fixing the normal stuff.. Well it said save and publish.. Lol I was hoping to just save my changes.. Anyways thank so much.. Will go ahead and start writng my contents and following up the training instead of trying out my amateur website creation skills.. Lol

Hey Kelly I don't think Hobby Lobby has an affiliate program, but Michael's does. I couldn't send you the link on here, but you can look up michaels affiliate program.
Don't know much about your niche but I know it's going to be profitable. Yes, it's competitive and that only proves that there is money to be made. If you look for the right angles (low hanging fruit keywords), you can definitely take a piece of the pie.
Hi, i think this niche is most profitable and also highly competitive on the market. just curious what you planning to post about? I'm not sure if the hobby lobby has affiliate program,but there are many others you can do business with.

I was thinking of posting a lot about trendy home ideas, designs and ways in which you can keep your home trendy especially with the way things are constantly evolving everyday..
