Page Menus
Can be created from any of your pages you have already created for you site such as your home page, about me page, contact us page and so forth. By clicking on the arrow to the right of the tab name it will reveal a drop down with 3 tabs to find the pages you are looking for,

All you need to do to add your pages to your menu structure is to click on the check boxes next to your page names and then click on the "Add to Menu" button.
The default layout for the menu structure will place the menu items along side other on your website menu bar. Save you menu at this point and do a preview to see what I am talking about.
Now all that is left for you to do is to drag the menu you want as your submenu underneath and to the side of the main menu item and drop it into place. You will notice a dotted rectangular outline as you move your menu item around. This will indicate where the menu item is going to be positioned in the over all structure when you drop in place.
Depending on your theme, it is possible to have multiple submenu layers for your menus so you don't have to worry about cluttering up your site and confusing your readers while you busy expanding and growing over time. Notice how it says "sub item" next to my menu names? That means I have done it right and my drop down menu as been created. All that is left is to save the menu and go preview it to make sure you happy with the layout and the order of your dropdown menu items.Next up Link Menus
