How You Increase Your Network (more Folowers)
Here we are 6:00 A M Central Standard time in South Padre Island Texas.... no sunrise yet over the palm trees near the Gulf of Mexico... but enough about the misery of my life... LOL
Some asked how did you get over 1000 Followers....as of today over 1400
It took from January thru August to get 900.... granted I had done my version of Rip Van
Winkle on WA... March thru August... I was not active.
When I was a NEW newbie.... I am an old newbie now...just got restarted on Labor Day...one week ago....
When I created my Profile and published it, I saw the line of photos of frogs, dogs, and beautiful people just above the comment section. Pictures of newbies and the words....
New Members (Build your personal network) and right above in blue was the word REFRESH !!! Now that turns out to be VERY refreshing!!!
By spending very little time I have added 500 followers this week by clicking follow under newbie pics.... reading profiles and blogs... and have about 25% of those I followed...Follow me back.... cool.
In less than 2 minutes this morning I followed 100 newbies.... so if I did that every day 365 days a year I would have followed 36,500 and if I get followed by 1 of 4 that I follow... in one year I would have 9,125 followers.... WooHoo you say...wait this gets much better.
I would be following over 36,000 folks that send blogs and trainings etc.... wonder where I might get a big picture of how things work??? And I would be sending info and success announcements to over 9,000 folks that can give me feed back on whats good and not so good.... But wait there's MORE.... sounds like an infomercial, huh
You get to make new friends ... you get to see what a wide variety of people, cultures, former careers are here on WA.... yet with the diversity.. the glue that is common is desire to make use of the knowledge and opportunity WA offers.... But wait there's more... lol
While hitting follow times 10 and refresh.... the list of newbies never ended... and I asked myself why aren't some of these folks my referrals.... and Kyle said in one of his posts if we get 100 premium referrals between Labor Day and the end of the year we can do the Las Vegas trip.... I'll bet you one thing... that ought be a great trip
I'm sure I am the only one that did not already figure this out.... but repetition is the mother of mastery!!!

"In less than 2 minutes this morning I followed 100 newbies...." What do you do just hit their 'Follow' button. Some have a no name, a generic avatar and no profile. I couldn't add 100 followers in an hour. Don't they have to follow you back to add to your network.
check out your profile... the system says.... new members...build your personal network....so by definition you click one or ten and one option is hit refresh and repeat... another option is go to one profile... once you do you get an automatic refresh... or look at those you are following so that you may have an opportunity to meet and get details on an affiliate new or old that you may never meet and begin communication..... one other choice would be to wait until they find your needle in a haystack...... out of 200000 plus affiliates I personally know exactly one of them.... Lisa Taylor that told me about this place... using this technique I have met and emailed .... many .... many ... more

Am I missing something here? Let me explain. I tried to find the email that Kyle sent regarding the Vegas trip but for some reason, it seems to have disappeared from my mail.
OK, so here is what I remember regarding the followers.
I was sure that he (Kyle) was referring to followers on our web site and/or our Bootcamp training, NOT followers within the WA community.
Am I wrong here? Does anyone still have Kyle's original email that he sent out? If you do, would you post it here please?

You are correct. You don't get to go to Vegas for getting other WA members to follow you. You go to Vegas when you get 300+ referrals that go premium.

YES ! I knew it was more to it than just getting other WA members to follow us within the community ! After reading your comments I do remember that's what Kyle had said. Also, there was a deadline regarding the 300+ referral followers.

see above... I searched via the question search above and cut and pasted... what Kyle said and I reread the post... close to the bottom I said that 100 premium referrals from Sept 1 to the end of the year is a special deal
I increase every day a few, in two months I have 323 folowers and I follow 346, and I like to read all blogs, what is becoming very much these days, how do you keep up with all those followers?
Unless I see or meet someone I really am interested in, I only follow people if they follow me first.
If you do follow me I always follow you back out of courtesy.

That's it.... I have learned my lesson.... no more sharing...... till I bank 100 billion dollars.... that way it wont matter about opinions..... only that whatever really stupid ideas I have.... worked or not... if they didnt work .... no one but me will know about the failure..... he... he.... and based on the target income total... I will be 50 million years old before I have to post again.... :)
I usually do the strip of newbies on my profile once a day or once every other day. Mainly, though, what I like to do is see the green buttons on hot discussions. I want people in my network who engage!
I agree with you Carla. In the beginning I would just go through and add people randomly but now it would be if they are in a discussion or they follow me first. Some people start and then never post anything.
That's great, Kevin but do you find it hard to keep up with so many people between the blogs, questions and discussions? I'm blind by the time I go to bed at night. :-)
I just do the best that I can..... in slower times I review all the options to communicate and do so.... and the thrill is the diversity that I mentioned in the post.....
What I did learn today is if I have any more Great Ideas.... I will sit Down, Shut Up and Keep them under my chair.... LMAO
