Site support embed an html file for me on 08/10/22 but my site is still down. Stats are showing that traffic is going down. I'm worried please help.
check the how to use Medium.com. I watched that a couple days ago pertains to getting more traffic.
when you say your site is still down... do you mean you cannot access it when you type in the url in the address bar...
search console verification is instant after you have added the file or html tag and gone back to search console to verify with hte same method you used to add the tag to your site....
The html tag was added by site support two days ago. But when I try to verify my site the verification fails. GSC is still asking me to add the html file. What could be the problem?
it sounds like you are trying to verify with the wrong tag...
you need to find where it says add the html tag and it will say verify there and that will work...
if you log into your GSC account and goto settings>>ownership verification and choose html tag thee will be a verification there
or if it comes up immediately with hte box for verification then scroll down a bit and you will find the html tag section - expand it and you have a verification in there that you use...

Are your STATS down or is your SITE down, and also, are you meaning you are waiting for Google to “Index” your site?

My site is down, and site support uploaded the html file on my site but GSC has not yet approved it. In the meantime, visitors may not access my site, Stats at Pinterest have gone down! How long does it take GSC to verify a site?

it sounds like you are trying to verify with the wrong tag...

There are several though you can utilize. Log into the back office of your website, and then choose the Plugins tab....and then from their you can search and install whatever plugins that you like.

I had installed the 301 redirect, the free version only shows me 404 errors. Correcting the errors requires up grading!
Why are you getting the errors in the first place?
I have no knowlegde of this 404 errors.
I was thinking why not correct the cause without having to use a pluggin.
When google search console robots crawl your web posts, some pages may not be found, for whatever reason.
A 404 error report will be sent to you so that you can correct it. There're plug ins that can help you to redirect the search engine to the new location of that post. And all your visitors will be directed to the new location.

You can submit via a Site Support ticket which you can locate by clicking on the “Help” tab at the top and once that opens — you’ll see the Site Support area where you can open a ticket and request.

How do I add an html code to my website?

As per my understanding, Google never says you have to submit every post only then Google noticed it. Even though I add a post couple of days ago, it still has not been indexed by Google. So how Google thinks about a post is very complicated. But still, if you want to do that no issue.
I always do after each article is published — I have found it to help tell Google you have something new to be found and usually speeds up the indexing process.

The thing is, I would like to impede a new keyword on one of my posts without changing the previous one as google has already indexed it .
Changing a post won't affect its indexing but may affect its ranking.
If you want to add a new keyword to an existing post, edit the post with a new paragraph incorporating the new keyword naturally, if possible in the paragraph heading.
If you are referring to your post meta description, that you can change. it is best to have your keyword phrase use in the meta description..
Why do you want to include a new keyword on a published post?
Your chosen keyword will be a phrase and that should be the focus of your content in the post. There should be no need to add another keyword.
Chose your keywords for your title so your post is al about that keyword. Make your keyword a long tail keyword so your post is more focused.
A keyword like wrodpress theme is too broad. How to install and use the Generate press WordPress theme is a better keyword.
Do a google search for your niche and see what auto suggests as keyword phrases people are searching for. Think about using them as post titles (your keywords). Check in jaaxy for competition.
I paused this question because in google search console analytics, you can see the visitors keywords.
