The Power of Community
There are many components to success in any business. Not in order of importance ........
You need a plan
You should have a blueprint, and work on it regularly, keep updating it
You usually need some form of finance, however minimal - few businesses can be started up from scratch, although it is possible - take WA, for example, with its free entry.
You need dedication.
You need a vision
These are just to name a few .... and lastly, but not least, you need a team of supporters, to be a member of a group of like-minded people - this has been stressed over and over again, by such luminaries as Napoleon Hill in "Think Yourself Rich" .... the strong message is that YOU CAN'T DO IT ALONE. Your need a SUCCESS CIRLE, from which you can get support, mentoring when you lose your way, or when the going is tough and you feel alone, or when you just need a crucial bit of advice or information - enter (drum roll)
the awesome, AWESOME, WA community ..... the power and support of sharing, caring like-minded people at the ready to help each other has to be experienced to be believed.......
Yes, sometimes we grumble about all the emails
Yes, sometimes we grumble about it being addictive and we are not getting our work done
Yes, sometimes we wonder why ranking is so important, and grumble about the time involved to work on improving that ranking
But, let's face it, it is the community which keeps us going, and keeps us heading to our computers even when we are feeling a bit jaded as we are feeling a bit overwhelmed with all that there is to learn ..... we also know that we are not in this alone, and we can share the joy and excitement of every little step forward, every EUREKA moment; that here, our success matters and our failures will be forgiven and understood, and that we will be cheered on and urged to not ever accept failure. Where else can you get that?
And of course, when you get so much, you also have to give, which is why we must also contribute, as is so encouraged here. Our community is our strength, and our success matters to each other. Let's salute and celebrate this community because it really is our success circle. .

Nice to see you again, MrWailor. We're all learning from each other. Consistency can be overcome with practise - like anything, the first step is to recognize what we need to practise (and you did).. I am learning that just giving something a go is the biggest first step forward, then keep working at it, and eventually it becomes habit. We all have our strengths and weaknesses - for me (the hardest) is procrastination. But I'm working on it, till I have beaten it. I made progress this week.
Hi Jewel ...... we all share here - that's what makes it so great. Working to get through my lessons now (long overdue), then I can share even more. Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.
Yes, Katharina, we all share our joy and tears here, lol. :) I love yr writing and know that you will do well if you can write that well. :)
I agree completely. It is amazing how many different needs the WA community fills for its members. Best wishes.
Harold
Hi Harold; nice to hear from you again, and thanks for the feedback. It is filling many needs, informative, nurturing and social, while at the same time still serving it members so well in their online endeavours. It is truly unique in that way and I think we wouldn't have it any other way now.
Katharina, excellent post. You are Spot On!
This community is my virtual home.
I love all these great members.
Hi Ken
Thanks for the endorsement! Means a lot. I love WA and its wonderful members more every day too - becoming my virtual home, too (when I'm not working). .
Yeh, that darn work thing gets in the way sorry :-)
Not for long however if you decide to grow your business.
You will be able to work for Katharina no one else. ;-)
Thanks, Ken. That HAS put a smile on my dial for the day :) Just leaving for work now with that thought in mind. Have a great day, too.
